Classmate claims FSU shooter spouted ‘white supremacist rhetoric and far-right’ views in campus political group
Well of course he did! Because no white supremacist groups do anything violent. The narrative that they are a major concern was taking a beating. Expect a couple more “white supremacists” to be involved in incidents soon.

A fan fell from the upper deck at PNC Park last night.
Ironically, he landed on the *warning* track.
He is in critical condition.

That's what I get for not *clicking* on threads.
At least I'm not Pirate fan.

I have been spending long hours at the Capitol because of Session. There would be a lot of people there if it was just the people working, but there's also the public and tourists there, so it is packed full.
Or in other words, a big petri dish.
And sure enough, I have caught something and it has kicked my ass. Cold, flu, maybe covid, I don't know. It isn't pleasant, seemingly affecting every system I have from head to toe. It has made me really, really weak.
Y'all take care of yourselves, yes get all the vaxes, and wash your hands often.

They’re obviously working for Chip.
I’ll just continue with my science denying ways and take my various B.D and all the other letter supplements.
Last time I was sick was for about 15 minutes last winter.
The test said I had the ‘Rona. Could be best described as a slight runny nose for an afternoon.
Wouldn’t have even tested if the GF hadn’t also had it.
She’s as vaxed as Chip. Kicked her ass pretty well for a few days.
BTW, I’m in airports most days. Trust me, they’re every bit the Petri dish any Capitol is.

Get plenty of rest. Drink lots of water and try not to think about Trump for a few days. You’ll be fine.

The 2025 bracket for the lacrosse national championship has been released.
I'm calling Maryland over Ohio State in the championship game.

I'm noticing a significant size and weight advantage for the fighter on the left. Better stance too. Guy in leathers should probably start less shit. Read the room, fukko.Sudden Sam wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 4:28 pm Holy shit! Makes me hurt watching this.

That being said, the driver of that SUV needs to be jailed extensively.

Bike rider was an idiot. It can be difficult to keep your cool with some of the crazy moves drivers make around you, but…you can’t win. If you ride, you have to accept that fact and ride accordingly. I’ve talked to drivers at a light after they almost erased me. Most people apologize and I just ask them to pay more attention to bikes. In the heat of a nasty incident, that doesn’t happen. But you’re right…the heftier, 4 -wheeled, enclosed object will win 100% of all battles with a bike rider. So we need to ride with that knowledge foremost in mind.HighPlainsGrifter wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 12:29 amI'm noticing a significant size and weight advantage for the fighter on the left. Good.
According to that piece, the driver tried to run the kid off the road multiple times.

I had a similar experience. After 55 years of hiding my suffering behind a brave face, I realize that I, too, was abused by Smokey Robinson. It happened in the changing room at his pool house... actually, the details are too painful to share. Just... add me to the list of Defendants. I don't even want money. I simply want to be made whole. The rights to his discography would do it. I'm also willing to settle out of court and save him any embarrassment.
Ain't nothin' like the real thing, baby.

For bungle clone...
When I was in Korea this time, I asked some people about Somali.
A couple people (older) said, "Who?"
A couple other people (younger) said, paraphrasing, "He's an idiotic j@ckoff, and I hope they throw the book at him."
A few people heard of him, but had no real opinion.
Nobody I asked had anything complimentary to say about him, or anything negative to say about the Korean legal system, in regard to their handling of his situation(s).

John Foster, who is in the finals of American Idol, being recognized at the Capitol today. 18 years old but he sure seems more composed than the average 18 year old.
Re: A thread for things that don't warrant their own thread

He just sang Amazing Grace in the Senate, with one verse in cajun French.
This is a star being born. Incredible voice, phenomenal presence.

Louisiana has many problems, but the fried chicken made by the inmates at the Capitol cafeteria ain't one of them.
Damn this is good.

My view of Billy Strings at the Outlaw Music Festival.
