he wrote some damned good poppy songs. a former student gave me an mp3 disc with all his stuff.....i think it's pretty good.

I always liked Elliott Easton. Very under-rated guitar player and song writer.

Too bad we'll never get that original lineup for The Cars Reunion (whenever they decide to cash in).

Easton pretty much copped to stealing straight the guitar line out of one of the songs off the White Album on his minor solo hit from the late 80's. i'm having a brain cramp but i think it's Mother Nature's Son--or i Will.

that solo record is not bad and pretty listenable, i heard it a bunch at the record store where i worked in junior high. it didn't suck and placated our manager who wanted to keep us from playing Master of Puppets, up on the sun, the Jane's live record, or Rain Dogs instead of Invisible Touch.

talk about misery. Invisible Touch 3-4 times a day.
