Jeebus, they can't get anything right

Post by Dinsdale »

Trailblazers just hired Nate McMillan.

Sure, he was probably the fan's first choice -- until Terry Porter became available.

MEMO TO BLAZERS MANAGEMENT -- You're not going to win anything anytime soon. Thank Whittsett for that. Anyhow, your biggest issue is putting butts in the seats. Even a one year deal with TP would have done that. He is still kinda a hero around these parts, in case you didn't notice. Wait -- you didn't notice....neither the ownership or management is even from around here...seeing your problem yet, douchebags?

Big deal. The Lakers just traded for Kwame"WAAAAAHHH Air Jordan called me a faggot" Brown. McMillen is a good coach, but I agree the Blazers need to get some familiar faces into the organization.

I've actually met Kevin on many occasions. I'm sure he's probably too busy with his sports bar thingy to even think about getting involved with basketball.

Would be a popular move with the fans, though. Since he first came here, he's been a permanent resident ever since. He's still held in very high regard in the comminuty, anf for good reason -- he's a very nice guy. Quiet but pleasant, makes friends very easily. Good dude.

I'd be OK with Duck working with the Blazers. Get Porter, Buck and Drexler here, too. Kersey is already here. That'd be a coaching staff. Those guys definitely believe in an uptempo offense, without question (at least McMillen has that going for him). The Zers have always, until recent years, been traditionally a run-and-gun team, and I think that's what the fans want again. Nice to see the other year-in, year out gunning team, the Suns, are still sticking to tradition. The old Blazers/Suns matchups were a hoot when both teams had it going. Denver played that way for a long long time. Good old fashioned hoop, right there.

Nate hired Maurice Lucas as an assistant. BOOOYAH! Talked about another guy who is universally loved in this town.

So I guess they did get something right. Any of the young punks get mouthy, Luke can just point up at the rafters and say "see that banner, bitch?"
