Seeing as how PC has only been at SC since 2001, is 42-9 during that time and is 36-3 over the last 3 years, I feel pretty good about the program. Course looking at the larger picture of back to back to back BCS bowl wins and back to back national titles instead of how they fare against just one team, that can't seem to get up for anybody else, helps.
Why look at 7 years unless its just to help your argument, lets just look at well forever
Cal has won 13 conference titles since their first in 1918
USC didnt win their first til 1927 but have won 34 since
Cal has won 3 recognized National titles 1920, 1921 and 1922
USC has won 10 recognized national titles starting in 1927 and going up through 2004
More importantly USC has won 7 national titles since College Football went national in the 1960's titles before 1960 are suspect due to the regional schedules teams played. Cal has won 0 since 1960
And like what was posted earlier USC is 57-30-5 vs Cal
USC may be Cals largest game every year, but Cal is just another step to the Trojans
Always comical when someone goes to the "we've got a better record from the last ___ years" card, because you know they're only going to back in time just far enough to show said winning record.

What the hell are you talking about? Texas has a all time winning record over just about everyone. Texas owns aggies in every possible way all-time record, last 25 years last 10 years, last 5 years, last game. you name it you are our bitch.
If you go back to all-time record we own everyone in the Big 12. Without looking it up I don't know of a team that has a winning record over Texas.

You're probably right.
However, "big games" seem to have a winning record over Texas.
Depends on how far you go back. If you consider just Mack Brown I would say Mack is doing very well in big games. In conf mack has a winning record over everyone except Stoops, he is 0-2 in B-12 championship games but is 4-3 in bowl games and 1-0 in BCS bowl games. He is 3-1 in New Years day bowls. Over the last 3 years he has averaged more than 10 wins. Now where is MSU when compared to Texas?
Vanderbilt owns texass...
I'm sure a lot of teams actually do have, after making my original post I remembered that BYU has scoreboard on Texas 2-0.
Too bad it's going to take a$m to win every game between now and 2041 to just tie Texas. OU will need to extend their win streak another 16 years just to tie Texas..
USC is 4-0 vs Texas
Last game was in 1967, I'm hoping we can change that streak this year.

Ok. I'll switch "big games" to "OU". There we go. The other wins aren't impressive to me. With the kind of talent Texas has year in and year out, they SHOULD have yearly wins against teams like Kansas, Baylor and Iowa St, and even Kansas St, Nebraska and ATM. I refer to the big games as OU, because if they won more of these games they'd likely be competing for titles, or at least more BCS games.
And, hey, I didn't bring MSU into this. I'm not babs, bro. For some bizarre reason, I actually find pleasure in the fact I'm one of the only few on this board that roots for a team who's not consistently ranked in the top ten.

Though OU is a big game and Texas has not had any success in that game since last century, I would not dismiss some of the wins we had over Nebraska. Especially since 3 of those wins each has denied them the chance to play for the MNC.
Now if you are just talking OU the fact is that series has always gone in cycles since the early 50's. Bud cam into OU and owned our coach Ed Price. DKR cam in and owned Bud, OU hired Switzer and he owned DKR. Akers is hired and he owned Switzer early on. Switzer then goes a long win steak until he is canned, then Texas goes a long win streak that pretty much lasts til Stoops is hired and now he owns Mack. Fact is I'm confident the cycle will swing in Texas's favor in the coming years or we will can our coach and bring in a coach who will swing the cycle in our favor again.
actually much like the somewhat cyclical nature of the tOSU/scUM series...I firmly believe with Tressel at the helm that the series will continue on in the favor of the bucks IMHO...
ok we are getting off subject...
I think this solidifies m2 board tardness...
in m2's world if you beat a team statistically you win the game no matter the final score...nice logic there exlax...

Sounds good.
And Texas will need to win about 70 games in a row to tie OU in national titles. :D
Did you forget to mention congradulations on the accomplishments of his great great grandfathers ? BTW leather helmets are out ;)
Sin,
The 26 Texas teams that beat OU before WWII
News flash for OU fan,
Football was not invented after WWII, and football history did not start with 1950.
Sincerely,
