Coming up: Clemens vs. Peavy

Post by Mikey »

Peavy has been hot and cold, but even when he's cold he's done well and lost only because of feeble run support. He always gets his Ks (well usually).

Clemens has just been lights out this season, 'nuff said.

Clemens was Peavy's boyhood hero, and supposedly they've become friends and stuff, and Clemens has taught him some stuff about pitching in the majors. Should be interesting.

What'd I say?

Great, classic pitchers' duel.
2 - 0 Pads, complete games by both pitchers.

You will be soon. You will be soon.

By the way, who was that scrub pitcher who beaned 2 of our guys with the bases loaded before our pitcher was up? Curious!

That was kind of funny actually (I hope DJ's not in too much pain today).
Olivo glared at the guy like he was ready to go after him after getting beaned in the butt, but was laughing by the time he got to first base.

Olivo gave the guy "a look." A look he deserved. That pitcher was quite a jerk!
