...look like MONEY on my 62" DLP television, but my PS2 looks like straight ASS? Now I know some of it has to do with the fact that I've got those Monster cables for my XBox, but even before I did that the XBox looked tons better on 16:9 than the PS2. And, yes, I've changed the settings on my PS2 to 16:9. I'm thinking that the PS2 isn't really geared up for HD or widescreen, but if I'm wrong and I'm just missing something, let me know.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. PS2 is suXX0rz.
Why does my XBox...

Tried 4:3 and it's alright if I narrow the format of my television, but the best results I've gotten with the PS2 are by changing my PS2 settings to full screen and, again, using the narrow format on my tv. It's still pretty rough looking, though. I guess I assumed that the picture quality would be at least in the same ballpark with the XBox, but it's nowhere near it.ElTaco wrote:When you play with your ps2, why don't you change it to the 4:3 aspect ratio. HDTVs are supposed to handle that so I presume yours would too. Maybe it just doesn't have the resolution to support hdtv?
