It's offical the Big 12 Sucks

Post by Vito Corleone »

Shit even if Texas wins the conference it won't shut anyone up cause the rest of the conference looks like the freaking WAC.

Baylor losing to SMU
OU lost to TCU
Nebraska struggling with Montana school of the special people
CU needs last second score to beat CSU
agroids losing to Clemson

This is a sad day for Big 12 fans.

You been drinking boy?

OSU played Montana correction facility to a 15-10 game.

Actually, you're correct when you said Nebraska didn't exactly show much in winning a 25-7 game over Maine...

Same thing as U$C being up 7-3 on Univ. if H. after 1 quarter.

Actually, our starting qb went down with a broken ankle. We fixed the problem... 41-3 with the starters out in the early 3rd quarter.

I'll be happy with the O-State win for now, and even their own announcers said...it could be a prettier sight, but it goes down as a W.

You have no credibility in anything related to.... well.... anything.

Fresno State beat USC back when the Pac-10 was down. This year, the game will at least be a watchable win for USC. USC will but it will be a good game to watch. Dilfer beating Rob Johnson was so Freedom Bowl. 'Sup Larry Smith?

USC could prolly beat the Houston Texans this year. They are that good. David Carr got sold to a shitty bunch of slugs and Bob McNair. Too bad he will be a Steve Young.

Oklahoma was given the beat down by SC last year and the prospects jumped ship.

College football is a meat factory...if you want to move up to the next level.

Seen it first hand as a non-entity very few would remember.

I've read your post 3 times and I still can't figure out what the hell you just said.

Take a writing class, I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and shit a better post than you just made.

The 12 did look like crap today. Only two teams lost but those were two of the big-name teams and many of the other schools looked lousy.

Texas bitched LL and Baylor came back to beat SMU, that doesn't make for much to crow about.

My skers looked like garbage, I strongly suspect that in our mania to become a recruiting power we sacrificed coaching. There is no excuse for struggling that much with freaking Maine.

At this point I'd say winning the 12 North is on a par with being the smartest one on the little bus.

If you saw that game (I was watching until ND-Pitt came on), USC never got the ball until 1:24 left in the first quarter. Their first quarter TD came on an int. return. Their defense struggled on Hawaii's next drive, but apparently settled down after that.

notes from Kona
USC's D was kept off balance Hawai'i's first two drives (other than Bings pick) but once the Trojans defense got on the field they rolled.
Hawai'i's pick was bullshit, the corner pushed Jarrett out of bounds then turned around and the ball came to him. The officiating in the game was atrocious as Hawai'i got away with late hit after late hit
Hawai'i's fans are as big of pieces as garbage as Kals fans, except if I had to choose one to fight against, it would be Kals
Lendale didnt get too many touches and seemed to be pretty quiet in the game
Leinart being able to check plays at the line is going to be bad for SC opponents.
The Trojans special teams are wicked fast.
SC is going to miss Cody, Patterson, Grootegoed and Tatupo.

You mean Missouri finally held an opposing lineman under 50 yards rushing today?

USC wouldn't come within 30 points of any NFL team. In fact, I'm not sure that USC could even score a point against a NFL team except on a fluke. As good as USC is, they only have a handful of people that will ever be drafted in the NFL, let alone play in the NFL. There is a quantum leap in talent from a college O-line to a NFL O-line. I won't even begin comparing defenses or player speed.

It was probably an overstatment to make a point but you are absolutely correct. NFL teams probably wouldn't even have to throw a pass. They would literally ram it down USC's throat all day. And the Texans defense would probably shut them out completely. You have....what.....117 I-A schools alone filtering into 32 NFL teams. Only the best of the best of the best make it. USC while talented would not score a point.

I tried to get killian to sticky up a pick commentary thread. but no dice!(good A&M road favorite is a joke rant)

Anyone who doesn't expect Nebraska to struggle is foolish, it takes a good 3-4 years to finally get that offense in and get everyone on the same page. Plus it takes a few years ot get the quality Wr's coming in to run a west coast offense. Plus being an all american at Juco doesn't equate to tearing up Div1 football your first year. Growing pains the first year.(course they will still probably beat Stinkel)

But hey rack Clemson getting points @ home, got me even with the book(-few dollars for juice)
