Any questions about our defense NOW, BITCHES?

Amazing how a seventeen point deficit will tend to shift you away from the running game. But they have held the JEST scoreless to this point, so props are deserved there.KC Paul 3.0 wrote:At the end of the 1st half C. Martin hasn't even broken 30 yds. rushing, and C. As a TrINT Green owner, I hope it's not too early for the chefs to go away from the passing game.KC Paul 3.0 wrote:It's too early for the JEST to go away from the running game, Red.Red wrote:Amazing how a seventeen point deficit will tend to shift you away from the running game. Yep, this is the greatest Chief team of all-time. You're the best....blah, blah, blah. My gawd someone put him out of his misery. :roll:KC Paul 3.0 wrote:At the end of the 1st half C. Yea, um, I don't think there was too much doubt that The Jet offense was going to accomplish much opening week in KC. I didn't get to see it but uh, you could call it blind. Let's see what else they got.

Questions:
How are Sims and Surtain....?
Comments:
Didn't see the game, but it appears to have been a real nice performance by the KC defense.
I'm guessing it was a combination of things.
1. Chief D sacking up
2. Chief D playing from the lead
3. Jest ineptitude (7 fumbles...?!?!?)
KC gave up a lot of yards, but as orc said, those numbers don't mean a whole hell of a lot when you're playing with a big lead and playing a very "soft" defense because of it.
Paul's talking out his ass per norm, but if I'm Chief fan and my defense nearly tosses a shutout I'm damn well geeked about that.
See ya next Sunday, boys.

Thanks for the update.KC Paul 3.0 wrote:This JUST in: the JEST were a PLAYOFF TEAM last yearDiogenes wrote:Yeah.
And maybe I'm all wrong about it being the same old 'D'.
But they're going to have to do more than pile on a bunch of dysfunctional underachievers like the Jets to prove it.

Of course, the fact it took them overtime to put the Dolts out of their misery in last year's playoffs shows how soft they are.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Hey, if hopping on this board makes things a LITTLE bit better for ya, then that's awesome. :D

Not to piss on your parade there Paul, but it's one game, and when the Chefs defense is able to stop an offense not named the Jets we'll be impressed. :roll:KC Paul 3.0 wrote:At the end of the 1st half C. Last week your 'defensive rookie of the year' bit on Fake's bootleg bullcrap over and over x infinity.
This week your secondary apparently took the day off.
I got other 'questions' but I'll leave it at that.
Pretty sure that's enough for now.
Want Monty Beisel back?? What a piece of crap.......

If we went by that thinking then Mike Vrabel never would have been here. One mans trash is another mans treasure. Unfortunently this appraiser says Beisel is trash.......

Not exactly. The Steelers had a bunch of good linebackers. Vrabel got caught in a numbers game and the Pats saw a way too work him into their scheme. On the other hand, the Chiefs linebackking corps has not had any talent since Derrick Thomas decided to quit breathing cold turkey. If a guy like Beisel couldn't crack the Chiefs linebacking corps, that most likely means he sucks.Neely8 wrote:KC Paul 3.0 wrote:Ask yourselves this, PatsieFan- if Beisel wasn't wanted by the Chiefs, then why did Homeless Guy POSSIBLY think he was getting a good LB when he signed him?Neely8 wrote:Want Monty Beisel back?? Donnie Edwards being the notable exception prior to Derrick Johnson's arrival.BSmack wrote:On the other hand, the Chiefs linebackking corps has not had any talent since Derrick Thomas decided to quit breathing cold turkey.
Marvcus* Patton also had... er... one good year for KC.
