Vince Young = Superstar / Heisman / Etc...
How are those of you who are saying this figure it? I saw him throw two picks, a few prayers, and one good pass the whole game. (Granted, it WAS the game winner...)
Anyway, I just wanna hear some ranting from Tejas fan about how he's the second coming of Vick and Peyton Manning all rolled into one... Meanwhile, we're sitting back watching a QB that can't pass, and when he does it's sidearmed.
...not that it matters to any OU fans that have watched their "quarterbacks" try to throw the ball around...

After last season going into the Rose Bowl everyone pointed out that Texas had 3 truely big games in the next 6. Michigan, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.
Lets update this for everyone.
Rosebowl - Texas special teams is run by retards and basically gives Michigan half a field all game long, while the Texas offense must drive the length of the field on damn near every possession. What happens Vince leads the troops on a game winning score.
Ohio State- Texas special teams are again run by the same retards basically giving Ohio State half a field all game long. Texas must again drive the length of the field on damn near every possession. What happens? Vince leads the troops on a game winning score.
Oklahoma - bitch slapped in BCS, loses tons of talent. Bitch slapped by TCU who is bitch slapped by SMU. Oklahoma is no longer a big game. But they are still part of the trifecta and once we hit that Vince can just about write his Heisman acceptance speech.
I personally don't give a damn what a bitter sooner thinks about Vince cause the fact is he sees the writing on the wall and will probably dissappear after the RRS just like he did after TCU.

If Texas wins, I'll be here, just like I've been after every OU loss for 6 years.

i think all the Sooner posters posted on Sunday after the TCU game.
""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"

I would have posted the day OF the game, just like I do every other time OU loses, had I not been in transit. ...but, just like a Tejas fan to see things through baby-shit orange colored glasses.
Also, Re: LK, he hasn't posted yet this season that I've seen, so saying that he was MIA after the TCU game is a reach at best... unless you're willing to sack up and say he was also MIA before it...
Nice try, "Vito."

I know that you aren't "Vito," and that you were just asking... I guess I could have put the "Nice try, Vito" in a different part of my post though... Sorry 'bout that.buckeye_in_sc wrote:skull...I was just asking about Liz since I haven't seen anything...
just wondering if he posts here anymore? that wasn't vito...
Yeah, I heard "married" talk from him too, and haven't heard from him in a while... Maybe I'll try to call him or something...

Skull,
I know you have a hard time giving props to anything Texas, but saying VY only threw one good pass in the game is of jon/babs type garbage. Yes, VY had two stupid picks that he shouldn't have thrown, but the rest were pretty damn good passes. Every pass he threw on that final drive was good.
In fact I saw much more out of VY this week than I saw in even the Rose Bowl. Dude pulled up and completed passes when last year he would have run. An example being the long pass and run down to the OSU 5 in the third quarter. In the Rose Bowl that was a VY run for a first down, this year it was a 60+ yard play.
VY is good. Heisman? Way to early to say, but at this point if people are going to discuss it, he has to be a leading candidate.
