At least the Faiduhs have some talent. The Titans have Steve McNair and a bunch of garbage.

I started him in my other league - So what's the story on Willie - any chance he keeps this spot when Duce comes back or does he just go to 3rd downs?

Parker can make moves neither Staley nor Bettis can at this point in their careers, and he has speed the two have never had.

To paraphrase an article I read yesterday, the coaching staff doesn't necessarily think he took anyone's spot.

He could finish the year as a top ten back in Pittsburgh's offense.

He's a hold, unless you can get something more than a mid-level WR for him in exchange.

I haven't even seen him play - only a couple clips on ESPN. So all I have to go on is what I read - Maybe he's this years Anquan Boldin?

Glad I grabbed him - wish I had saved a few $$ back in the JA league

Something to remember for all you FFL geeks looking at Parker. The Steelers bye week is week 4. Parker's performance all but guarantees that Cowher will keep Staley on the shelf through week 3. Then the bye week kicks in and everybody gets a rest. After that it is anybody's guess as to what kind of 3 headed RBBC monster might emerge in Pittsburgh. But, neither Bettis or Staley have shown that they can stay healthy, even in a training camp environment where they all but wore red jerseys.

I'm with Orc and say he's definitely a hold.

PS: Scott, I would not have let you poach Parker out from under me.

IMO, Parker will stay as starter until he ceases to be effective. When and IF Staley is healthy enough to play, he will do so as a #2 until a change is merited. Parker is on fire.

Bettis will get carries...on the goalline, as he did early last year.

Ride the Parker train while it's hot. He'll lose GL carries to Bettis and that's always a concern but as BSmack indicated.. there are 2 more weeks before his carries are cut..

Unless you're in a touchdown-only league, goal line carries are somewhat overrated.

When you have a back that is a dual thread out of the backfield and can take it to the house from 20-plus, the opportunities for a one yard plunge is about as easy to predict as a field goal kicker blowing up for five in a game. That's not to say a back like Parker won't suffer a hit due to being yanked in short yardage situations; however, I don't think it's as drastic as some might. In a performance-based league, he's still got upside to burn in a rush-heavy system like Pittsburgh's.

Bottom line in all of this, though, is Parker has an opportunity to write his own ticket from this point forward.
