SNC 2005...COMING SOON!
I thought it would be a cool idea to have a special opening night edition of the SNC since all 30 teams will be in action. We'll still have the traditional Saturday games that week but I thought it would be cool to get back into the swing of things by picking from a full slate of game. I'm going to the opening night game at the Joe between the Wings and Blues but I'll handle the results when I get home from the game.
Looking forward to the new season...I hope we can get a large turnout for the game. Same rules as before...there will be four divisions (Adams, Patrick, Norris and Smythe) and we'll have the top players move onto to compete in the playoffs in April. The SNC will go on break while the NHL goes on its Olympic break in February. You don't have to actually sign up but I'd atleast like to see who's interested in playing. I'll post the Week 1A thread on October 1...see ya there!

That's assuming miracles are possible. Not a Sens fan but dammmmmnnnnn I think the Leafs are to going to be gaxer that usual this year.Otis wrote:Winning this won't be quite as enjoyable as watching the Leafs kicking the Sens ass each spring..
You know Sundin's mom?I've invited a few other Leaf fans over..
As pessimistic as I have been due to this new 'economic' bs, the Leafs might not be in as dire straights as everyone thinks they are.Cicatrix wrote:That's assuming miracles are possible. There's some kids in camp that are really making an impression and could be stepping up.
Like Tomas Steen's kid, Alex.
Kid plays just like his old man did with the Jets.
Of course, if Eddie goes down... *shudder*
No, but I do know Bryan Marchment and his mom and dad.Cicatrix wrote:You know Sundin's mom?I've invited a few other Leaf fans over..

Oh what the hell....IN.
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Khavanov, Stajan, Wellwood, and Ondrus also looked great. But the Leafs are too old and have no younger talent, right? :roll:Otis wrote:As pessimistic as I have been due to this new 'economic' bs, the Leafs might not be in as dire straights as everyone thinks they are.Cicatrix wrote:That's assuming miracles are possible.
