I love CFB but hearing this from a large media outlet like ESPN does not bode well for anyone.
As an OU fan, I don't care if OU players are required to attend a single class, and I don't want my coach jeopardizing our chances to win because of a ridiculously strict new attendance requirement.
That article is a slam on OU and is dripping with sarcasm from Skip "Lance Armstrong Isn't An Athlete" Bayless. For all I care, he can ass-fuck a diamond-bladed chainsaw.

You do know Skippy's one of our guys, right, skully? Alpha Iota, '74.
Of course, if you were a sports geek and you'd gone to Vandy, you'd be a bitter little fuck too...
Jihad is hump of Islam...and Islam wants to hump us very much.

Yes, I DO know that, man. That's why I wouldn't want to punch him.

What's the difference between Vandy and UC Riverside, anyway? Besides Division I athletics and 1000 points, give or take, on the student bodies' average SAT scores, that is?

Vandy plays on that goofy elevated basketball court?

Fixed.
I see no humor in this post, and frankly feel stupider for reading it.

Been there thrice!!!
Nashvilles a pretty cool town, my only complaint is the army of panhandlers that live downtown.
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

music scene in Nashville extends far beyond the glitz marketed country NASCAR garbage.
it's actually pretty fantastic. a lot of small club shows of people you have and never will hear from who are really talented. or old guys who wrote songs you know by other artists that are really soulful dudes. but, they have to settle with the respect of their peers and not the benjamins.
Vandy's radio station was pretty dang good and a pioneer station when i was there.....in the earlier days of so-called "college radio".
a lot of underground hip-hop and jazz too.
Overall, Nashville itself is hit and miss in my opinion.
Bayless was the guy who started the Troy Aikman-might-be-gay rumors in his Morning News column and susbequently got run out of Dallas for continuing to harp on the subject.
