oops...you wanna move that post over here, I won't mind.
Edit: so I'll move it here then:
That was ugly and karma's a Bitch
This cheap shot artist has made a living out of ending other players seasons pre-maturely, so you won't see any tears coming from this direction.
Hope it ends the fucksticks career, and I hope Hines Ward lights up the Patsie secondary even more now.
Go Squeelers!

After you get done with the group reach around, realize that those two squads may not be the best two.
Carry on patting yourselves on the back in the meantime.
Patriots or Steelers are better than the Chefs any day of the week and ESPECIALLY on Sundays. KC wouldn't have been able to hold either team's jockstrap in the grudgematch that the Patriots and Steelers played in today. Besides them who did you have in mind?

Just sayin' that past peformance doesn't guarantee future results, is all.
What? You expect me to stand here with hat in hand listening to insufferable Patsie and Squeeler fan make dates with each other?
Sorry, wrong Board.

Who said it had to be in the conference championship? It probably will be, but you never know. It is possible that the Colts are for real. But its not like they have played a good team. Let's see what happens when they can't run the ball. You know, like when they played the Pats last year.War Wagon wrote:A couple other AFC teams might object to that scenario. That being said, it's damn hard to argue with results. The Pats have won the last 2 Super Bowls and the Steelers have beaten everybody in the league except the Pats for the last calender year. Who would you put ahead of them?

Maybe its just easier to respect the smack when your team has scraped together some wins in January and February during the last say, 30 years?

But leaving my blatant myopia aside, Indy, Cincy, and Jax look pretty damned solid. And save the "they haven't palyed anybody yet" arguement. Nobody has. You just play the teams on your schedule.
Now, if KC beats Dungver on MNF, I'll be tossing KC's name on that list also.

Glad to see your boy Parker had a HUGE day today... 17 carries for 55 yards... can we get off his jock now that he has faced a real defense?BSmack wrote:Sad to say they did.Th wrote:orcinus wrote:John Deere is getting some great run on its promotional dollars today.

By your own admission, "Dungver" isn't that good, so why are you saying if the Chefs win tomorrow night, that all of a sudden that puts the Chefs on the map? Jets, Faiduhs, Donks. Not exactly the NFL elite. Let's see how they match up against the Steelers, Patriots or Colts before the Chiefs are taken seriously.KC Paul 3.0 wrote:BTW, Wags is right- if we win tomorrow night in Piled High, you bitches bettah RECOGNIZE.
And an off the subject question for everyone, why is Doug Collins reffing the Chargers/Giants game? :P
Props to the Pats for taking care of business. Brady is amazing. He executes that offense perfectly, and it is just impossible to stop when it's clicking.
Randal-El is one of my favorites, but he played a bad game today. His pitch to Ward after that long pass was foolish, and ended up costing the Steelers.
El also dropped a crucial pass late in the game, and ran a few really bad routes as well.
Parker is the best back the Steelers have. He was shut down today, but he is still very good.
Big Ben played rather poorly today. Late in the game they obviously tried to get him to make reads more quickly, and he looked a bit better...but the pressure really ended up rattling him.
Again, great game played by the Pats.

Jim Brown wouldn't have rushed for 100 yards against the defense the Pats were using to stop Parker. If you were watching, Parker was breaking tackles in his own backfield on damn near every play. It's pretty damn hard to run when you have guys hanging off you before you even hit the line.BBMarley wrote:Glad to see your boy Parker had a HUGE day today... 17 carries for 55 yards... can we get off his jock now that he has faced a real defense?
The Pats played a smart game. They put the pressure square on Ben's shoulders, and he almost came through. But in the end, he showed he still has some more too learn.

So- he faced a real defense and didn't do shit? As I said- stop sucking his dick long enough for him to play a couple real defenses and see how he does. I'm not denying he has talent- but you're treating him like he is the second coming of Barry Sanders after he faced Tennessee and Houston.. :roll:BSmack wrote:Jim Brown wouldn't have rushed for 100 yards against the defense the Pats were using to stop Parker. You do realize even the best backs don't ALWAYS gain 100 yards? Barry Sanders, to steal your pathetic example, averaged about 7 to 8 100 yard games a year. The exception was the year he rushed for 2000 yards.BBMarley wrote:So- he faced a real defense and didn't do shit? What I liked about Parker was that he took a whole bunch of 2-3 yard loses yesterday and turned them into 1-2 yard gains. If I had to compare Parker to a great back of the past, it wouldn't be Sanders, it would be Walter Payton. He's fast, he dishes out punishment and he fights like hell to avoid loses. What remains to be seen is whether Parker can be as durable as Payton. I wouldn't be on it. But I wouldn't lay money against it either.
Neely - Go find a thread where any of the Legitimate KC crew called for chief Super Bowl last year.
I called my Shot Pats over Eagles at the end of training camp.
This year, in pre-season I truly believe the Chiefs to be the Super Bowl representative from the AFC.
After 3 weeks I would lump them in with Indy, NE, Pittburgh and possibly Cinn after the first 3 weeks of the season as legitimate contenders.

It has nothing to do with this season, the games at hand or even a prediction for this season's out come.
It is by far the stupidest thing I have ever seen you write.

My point was that I thought maybe you guys would lay it low this year. Maybe wait until after the game to make statements like the ones in this thread. Hell we don't even play until 11/27.
So why did KC fan feel the need to come pound his chest and start trash talking a game thats two months away in a thread that is about a game played yesterday??
Im looking forward to Denver bringing you guys down a few pegs tonight. Although thats doubtful as KC myopia is only rivaled by Raider Myopia.......

Um are you now Bsmack 3.0????
Weren't the Ravens your team...........oh yeah they lost some games, nevermind.
Find'em hot, leav'em wet
May be a different story for either team if that game is in KC come January. I would never say that before and it isn't what KC has done as much as it is what NWE and PIT have right now. NWE's success is going to hinge on that field and Big Ben hasn't proven anything yet as far as being able to get it done in a hostile environment in the playoffs. PIT might, might have to worry about Cinci being a serious threat too and they don't have to play NWE and will get a taste of KC in their final game. They may follow that with another round the following week.Th wrote:Patriots or Steelers are better than the Chefs any day of the week and ESPECIALLY on Sundays. Don't forget about Oakland. Things can change and it isn't like they haven't lost to playoff teams and title contenders. true they have to find a way to win those but tough task when going against offenses that have been clicking together for some time now. Raiders should get that talent clicking and they are another AFC West team who's defense is improving. The whole division is.
NWE and PIT still hold the claim to the AFC and have the proven defenses to carry that superiority through January but the dreaded dark horse can always pull the upset.
Striving to be a victim of Polly's plagiarizing ways.
