Are the Gals for real?

Post by kcdave »

Most points scored - #1
Fewest points allowed - #2 (for teams that have played 3 games)

Looking at the schedule, prolly wont win the division, but at this point Id almost give them a wildcard spot. Last game of the season here at Arrowhead could be huge.

True.

BUT; remember that this Bungal Team has been 8-8 for the last couple of seasons. They've put 3 wins on the Board right away. The confidence that THEY haven't had since what...1991-2?...is now in their corner.

Its not OUR Generation's Bungals anymore....as long as they stay healthy.

certainly True.

can't put the automatic "x" beside the Steelers for a WIN though.

have to "wait and see."

The Bungals are Different this YEAR...and I hate it.

The Jags started 3-0 last year and it didn't get them anywhere. The Bengals have to actually play an NFL caliber team before they can be considered for real.

Perfect sense. I don't know how I could have missed that. You totally shot down me down and blew my take out of the water. I stand corrected. You are pure genius.

The fact is that, weak opponents or not, the Bengals are playing good fundamental football right now.

Still waiting to see how they do against a premier team, but until someone actually beats them on the field, or points out a weakness in their game, they are a quality team.

well Jeff2K5...if you would look about 3 posts above your 1st...you'd notice as to where I mentioned "wait and see".....and something about "injuries"...

didn't Leftwich get pummled last year....leading to the Jags downfall?

finding a NFL "Calibur Team" is a Week to Week process right about now.

kee-rist...the Redskins are 2-0!

:lol:

pure genius is a little STRONG for the praise...but Thanx...just the same.

I am a BROWNSFan...not a BungalFan.

BSmack is a STOOLERFan.

when WE BOTH mention that the BUNGALS are for Real--->the Apocolypse has Occurred.

1-->we NEVER Agree

2-->therefore...we must be RIGHT

They may very well be for real and so far they've been impressive, all I'm saying is that let's see where they are in week 8 or 9.

You can't rattle palmer. he has more poise than any Bengal QB has had in a long time. the WR threats make Defenses scared. if you play towards Chad Johnson, TJ is open. if you game plan TJ then Chad is open. the main suspect part of this team is the rushing defence. the CB tandem of O'Neil and Tory James allows Madeiu Williams to roam the field. We are very suspect in the middle, as we have no run stopping DT. but if they can play from ahead, as I suspect will happen a lot this season, that will alow Odell Thurman and David Pollack to grow into this defense. With Pollack holding out, Thurman has taken over the LB slot, and is not making the same rookie mistakes you often see. Unfortunatly we wont see 5+ turnovers every game, but the DB's are not just in the right place and the QB's making bad throws, a lot of the turnovers are good plays on well thrown balls... the pick Madeiu Williams where he fingertip caught the ball we freaking sick..

but with an easy schedule and some confidence.. lesser teams have done well...
