I'll defend Eaglefan here. Do you not understand football Pop? Jordan was completely shut down. They let Moss get some yards, but he didn't get in to the end zone. If I were Jimmy Johnson I'd glady let Moss have his 86 yards in exchange for completely shutting down the run. It's called good defensive strategy. Unfortunately for the Faiders, Moss' 86 yards were 67 more than Jordan had. That is why the Faiders lost. In the context of the game and considering Moss talent, 86 yards and no TD gives bode to the Eagles. Moss didn't get off, the running game was non-existent, and the Eagles won. Is this making sense?

No one said he didn;t do "okay"- 86 yards is nothing to sneeze at. But the whole point of this is that someone said Moss was going to destory the Eagles DB's... holding to him less than 100 yards and keeping him out of the endzone- they def did their jobs.

He obviously opens it up a little for the other recivers- but the only Stand out receiver from the game was Anderson with 100 yards and a TD- but the Eagles always have fits with Tight Ends...

There's the reading comprehension thing again. The issue is not Dawkins- the issue is what James said about Moss abusing the DB's. Well-again- 0 TD'S!!!! Yes- he got 86 yards.... but was held out of the endzone... TD's are what matters. As far as I can tell- the rest don't mean shit... so Moss did not "get his" And since you brought it up again- Dawkins did get a really good shot on Moss in the 1st quarter.

2nd half passing- Raiders - 230

3rd quarter scoring- Eagles - 14
Raiders- 0

Raiders avg rushing yards for the game - 1.0

What does all that mean? The Raiders were playing from behind virtually the entire second half. Not only could they not run the ball, they all but abandoned it in the 2nd half because they were playing from behind. Norv must have been shitting his pants because he was passing the ball so much.

Don't let those inflated numbers lure you into thinking Moss was a distraction to the Eagles secondary. I already posted an article in another thread in which Dawkins said that Moss was taking plays off.
