Sloppy play cost them the big win.... but then again- both teams played sloppy- so yeah- lets blame the clock!

The side judge is supposed to make sure the game clock is properly set. He should also shoulder some of the blame.

It would have changed teh dynamics at the end.....but everyone would have known how much time was left. Do you get what I am saying? It didn't aid one team or the because it happened so early. Its not like someone added 1:21 second with 1 minute left.

T REX is essentially correct.

It certainly isn't near as big a deal as an official making up an offensive pass interference call in the end zone to take away a TD.

You disagree with my take...?

Not even close. What cost them the game was playing a soft zone with over a minute left.

True dat. Why not take a timeout there if your Pitt? At least have 30 seconds on the clock to take a shot? Also B-Smack I was there and I was shocked at one point in the game. Brady was sacked on 2nd down but there was a penalty. Why not decline it and make it 3rd and long? Instead they gave Brady an extra down and he made them pay. I think it was late 2nd/early 3rd quarter......
