Funny. But the mere fact that this was posted only two games into Dude's tenure with LSU shows just how screwed up the system is. We need a playoff.

i agree about the playoff. i was listening to one of the local radio shows and they had a Bronco on who was from some 1-AA school. and the hosts being "sports journalists" tried to play up the long-shot small school thing. after riffing the names of about a half-dozen Broncos (shannon sharpe, rod smith, etc) who went to small schools.....the player proceeded to mock D-1 for not settling the championship on the field. it was great. he was dead on. i liked him. can't remember his name, though,

thing is: OU fan has a history with Miles. but, we used to make fun of Jimmy Johnson too.

I keep hearing Miles as being a possible successor for Carr up at Michigan. I don't know enough about the guy to have take on him but he is a Michigan guy. He's got a pretty sweet gig down at LSU but you wonder if he'd leave if the Michigan job was offered to him.

I'd take Michigan over LSU any day.

I couldn't help but notice in last night's game after Clausen threw that late pick (less than 20 sec left), Miles was signaling for LSU's final timeout-- on a change of possession. You could see one of his assistants rush over to him as to explain that the clock does indeed stop on a turnover. Looked like a classic John Cooper maneuver.

Anyone else see this? Makes me wonder how he got that job.

Anyone have the picture of Fran the aggsy eating his Little Debbie snack cake on the sideline.

There is some pretty good farks on that one.

With Fran at a$m and Miles at LSU that should only help Mack and Stoops continue to split the elite football talent in Texas.

You bet I did. Classic.

Reminded me of Karl Dorrel's first year at UCLA. Dude had a constant "Wait, what just happened???" look on his face.

Anyone suprised by that meltdown by a Miles coached team should look back to the OK State/ Texas game last year. They built a 28 point lead only to lose by 21. He turned a lousy team into a mediocre team in Stillwater and was given the keys to a pretty elite high profile gig in SEC country. Did no one ever look at his resume that close. Decent coach, but not anyone to ever deliver into the promise land.

Yep, I saw that too. I screamed, "He's trying to call time out! What the hell is he trying to call timeout for?"

There was no one else in the room.

I find myself doing this a lot watching the Trojans play but that's only because I'm pretty sure they can hear me.
