Chargers vs. Pats
Chargers vs. Pats
Alright Bolt fan lets do this......
I gotta be honest this game has me very nervous. The injuries to Bruschi, Harrison, and the retirement of Ted Johnson have depleted our run defense. Best RB/Player in the game coming to town at the wrong time for us. I do believe that Belichick will concentrate on stopping LT at all costs but Brees can light it up. Gonna be close however home field wins out......
Pats 20
Bolts 14

You oughta be nervous Neely the Bolts are going to storm into town and ......
Nope, not gonna go down that myopic path. I do beleive this is going to a close tough game. It depends which Charger team shows up, the one that played last week or the one that played in the second half in Denver 2 weeks ago.
No analysis this week, just wanted to call my shot.

This is a VERY tough call
The Patioriots are vulnerable this year and the Chargers are loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. Brees is starting to get it.
It could- should- easily be a 10 point win for San Diego
... but there's the Schottenheimer factor to consider.

True Homerism here Neely. Although the Bolts couldn't stop Pierce Jr. College through the air, I actually think they can outscore the Pats'.
With Gates in the lineup it takes 1 or 2 guys out of the mad pack Bellychick will stack up front.
The Pat's secondary is dinged and just might be the edge the Bolt's need to squeek out a W.

Brady throws for 275 and 3 TD's, Dillon grabs 85 and 1 TD. Vinatieri nails a 50+ to win some local schmoe $1000 for a radio contest.

You could, but you'd look like even more of a raving ingoramus than usual.Hapday wrote:I could say the same thing to you.mvscal wrote:Nobody stops LT with their front four. I'm not really sure who you think you're dealing with.Hapday wrote:The Pats defensive line will stop LT this week.
On second thought, no, you'd look about as much of a raving ignoramus as usual.

When has he ever kicked a game-winning or important FG? :PKUTTER wrote:LT goes for 120+ and 2 scores, Gates gets 70+ and a score, Brady throws for 2 and Dillon runs one in. The difference is Vinatieri...

This game comes down to the Charger O-line vs the Pats D-line. If LT goes off big time, the Chargers have a real shot. If Seymour and Co. contain LT somewhat, the Pats win big.

A sound drubbing of the Champs in their own back yard...something no one else has been able to pull off for several years...Solid defensive effort and a super performance by the big 3...LT, AG, and DB..
Donnie Edwards just added insult to injury by taking a pick back all the way....
41-17..any questions?

Congrats Bolts
Not sure what game you were watching......
Very nice game Boltfan. I told ya I was nervous on this one. Did not see 41-17 coming however. That is a very nice team you guys have going. Hope to see you guys again in January........
Our LB's were dressed as speed bumps today. Duane Starks sucks and should be cut tomorrow. I was thoroughly disgusted by what I watched today. One thing I have always been proud of in our losses is that the Pats at least gave it there all. I did not see it today. I blame the defense for this one completely. Allowing SD to march up and down the field at will. Did you guys even punt??? Bruschi will be back after the Pats bye week I am almost sure of it. Good lord do we need him........
Chad Brown was asked in the locker room after the game why they didn't get pressure on Brees. With the biggest grin on his face he says....
"Well we were concentrating on stopping the run so pass rush wasn't a concern. It's not the end of the world." ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME????? The big smile on his face after getting pummeled in your own crib shows me how much of a championship player this guy is. Chad Brown and Monty Beisel don't deserve to wear this uniform. Beisel wears number 52 also. What a disgrace to the career of Ted Johnson allowing a piece of shit like Beisel wear his number. This game has me angry at my team. Im sure Belichick will cut a big name this week. I would have had them out on the practice field immediately after that performance. Double sessions all week too.
DEPLORABLE.............

More like a shot across the bow for the rest of the AFC. Hell. I was not expecting a ass thumping like that, I thought it would be competitive and if shit squared up right then the Bolts would be able to win a squeaker at Gillette.I blame the defense for this one completely. Allowing SD to march up and down the field at will. Did you guys even punt???
That int for a TD in the final seconds was like the Chargers saying, "Sorry, but there are no reach arounds today".
Next week we should finally see a matchup worthy for Monday Night with the Steelers coming into our crib.

I guess I must have been on dope.mvscal wrote:I don't give a fuck if you're suiting up the Fearsome Foursome. Are you on dope?
Great game Chargers. All the Chargers needed to do was dress three players on offense: LT, Gates, and Brees. Brown and Beisel are easily the worst linebackers in the league. The Patriots injuries have caught up with them bigtime. It would be nice if someone on that defense knew how to tackle.

The Chargers' O line and Lorenzo Neal (easily the best blockinb back in the league) had a lot to do with making your LBs look lame.

Im sorry Mikey but there were at least 10 times that I can remember of a Pats LB getting flattened by LT or a WR. Their o-line and FB played great but lets not sugar coat it. Our LB's couldn't tackle my 3 year old yesterday......
Unless the Chargers OLine cast a spell on the Patriots defence that made them forget how to tackle, you are way off base. During week one of ESPN's Primetime, 'Iron Mike' said th enumber one problem with kids in college is that they don't know how to tackle. The Patriots provided a brilliant clinic for Ditka on Sunday.Mikey wrote:You must be on dope, or maybe just plain clueless.Hapday wrote:
