Vice City - Part Deux
Tough night last night to say the least. You can't expect to do much when you turn the ball over 5 times in half to a team like Miami. Their D is very good. I knew it was going to be a long evening after our first offensive play when Jackson dropped a pass that was good for about 40 yards.
Our D played very well considering the tough spots they were put in. I was happy about their effort. With a bye week coming up and all 6 remaining games being conference games I know we will rebound. Miami and Penn State were our toughest games on paper before the season started and they both have great D's that forced us into turnovers. I don't see any of our remaining games being against defenses of their caliber.
The Orange Bowl is freaking dump as is much of the City of Miami. I think it is safe to assume that the majority of the 'Canes fan in attendance never went to college.

Dreams......Temporary Madness
Im w/ ya Mucho. I went to the FSU/Miami games 2 years down there and Miami is a shit hole. 90% of their fans never even went there and know almost nothing about football. They are classless and thugs. USF kept it closer than I thought they would. Is it me, or does Kyle Wright have a week arm? Seems he has to put all he has into it even to make the intermediate throws. Plus, Julmiste needs to go.

I think there is much to be pleased with for USF. Clearly Miami is a cut above, but the Big East might be wise to watch out for the Bulls.
I've never been to Miami, or Florida, even. I guess I'd like to go to Miami - I love Cuban food. I'd also have to check out South Beach, don't they have a topless beach there? I think I'd have to sneak a peek at that.

South Beach was a good time, once you got past the weightlifter fags cruising up and down the sidewalks. Restaurants were great. Shitload of pro atheletes were down there hangin' out, those hotels are something else.
Now. The neighborhood around Pro Player Stadium....blight like I've never seen before. Blocks of abandoned car dealership parking lots, busted-up storefronts and crackheads pushing shopping carts. Weeds four feet high growing up out of the asphalt. Bad.
