Long time no talk. I am definetly in. I watched you guys play last night and cannot wait til Saturday. Bomar can only throw a slant and we will have 8 in the box for AP if he is healthy.
Stoop is a good coach but were a way better team than the previous 5 years. I think this is the year we open up a serious can. I can see half a hundred in OU's future and it won't be good. I would play Vince all day and run it up.
Texas by at least 21.

OU's offense should struggle against the Texas D.
without respecting the passing game they'll be able to stack the line against the run and blitz on passing downs.
Bomar is accident prone under pressure and if he gets rattled early he'll hand Texas the ball all day long.
however, the OU D thrives on stopping the run game and Young will have to complete some passes to move the ball with any consistency.
the only way OU stays close is special teams, field position and a zero passing game from UT.

Part of the reason we lost the last 5 years was OU was better. We may have had some better talent but OU was a better team. We came close last year but didn't do it.King Crimson wrote:like that's the only variable to account for the last 5 years. that's pretty weak. kind of like when your girlfriend "settles" an argument by saying: "whatever".Harvdog wrote: but were a way better team than the previous 5 years.
early line: Texas -14.
I really don't think that is a weak argument. The better team won. And this year will be no different
Texas 44
OU 13

OU wins.
Our strengths play to Texas' weaknesses (weak offense vs. weak defense) and Texas' weaknesses play to our strengths. (strong running offense vs. strong run defense) In games like that it usually comes down to coaching and intangibles. Which gives Texas a bwahahahahahaha...
OU wins.

That was a convincing little rant :roll:Believe the Heupel wrote:Fuck it.
OU will win. In convincing fashion. There will be at least one "What the FUCK?" coaching decision from Brown during the game that will turn the tide.
OU always saves something for the Texas game. There's always a play that the coaches work on for weeks before the game that end up working to perfection. Something that takes advantage of Texas' defensive tendencies that the Longhorns just aren't able to stop.
This year, I say it's throwing the ball to the wideouts.
Texas will never expect it.
21-7. Sooners.
I would hope that stoopie is smart enough to not hold anything back against UCLA or TCU, or Tulsa for that matter. If stoops was holding back his good stuff for Texas then it is likely not going to make a difference anyway.
BTW I don't care what he has up his sleve, Mack is still going to insert his foot in Bobs ass on Saturday.
Bob has lost control of his team. How many players have walked off, how the hell does someone lose an entire recruiting class.
I love how Bomar refers to all the team goals as I and all the team problems as they. Real winner you got there.
I especially love how the joklehoma offensive strength is running the ball when you have averaged just 142 yards against a stellar defenses like Tulsa TCU and KSU. Sorry if I'm not impressed.

i guess they don't have sarcasm where you live.

considering that UT has been outscored 189-54 in the last five games with OU, I wonder if Mack remembers what it's like to insert his foot in Bob's ass?Vito Corleone wrote:That was a convincing little rant :roll:Believe the Heupel wrote:Fuck it.

help me settle a difference on another board: don't you think it's sort of dumb when aggy calls UT......tu?
that whole goofy stuff with making goofy names like "radio" is pretty aggy or at best 7th grade stuff iddn't it?
edit: i didn't need to reply with quote--it's got nothing to do with that part of the thread.

I can answer that for you. I think it is totally retarded. A&M has the biggest case of penis envy of all schools. It is hammered into their heads at fish camp. The whole Radio thing is stupid also. I also love how Reggie is so much better than Vince yet they could barley squeak by BAYLOR in aggyville. When they say TU it sounds stupid. I alsways say A&M not m&a. That is not funny. It is kida like the texass or whorn thing OU fan does. Granted, Texas fans call OU blOwU so I guess it evens out. But, aggy fan goes a little further than most.King Crimson wrote:vito, i got question fer ya: i need a horn opinon.Vito Corleone wrote:Don't try and deny you believe the stuff you wrote.

I said A&M would be lucky to go 7-4. I think they lose to OU, Texas and Tech. Hell, they may even lose to CU too. Fran is a fraud. A few more years of this and Frisco will be begging for RC back.

i think CU will beat aTm.
i think the Aggies are more talented--but i think CU wins.
they are pretty tough in Boulder. i'd have really liked to go to that one....but there's other things one has to attend to.

Baylor blew a lot of opportunities at ATM, I wouldn't count on CU doing the same in their own crib. I like the Buff chances to actually represent for the north.
OU did look pretty good against KSU and seems to have turned a corner. In a few weeks I'd really like their chances but I don't think they are there yet, especially with Adrian banged-up. Stoops may outcoach Brown but they are now equal in terms of assistants and IMO Texas should be too physical in the end.
Texas 24
OU 20

Dont worry. Its actually a win-win situation. Either OU gets their ass handed to them or UT loses and FSU moves up. Either way, there will be a smile on my face this Saturday.
