Fantasy question

Post by BBMarley »

Hey all-

I'm torn for my #2 RB today- I have J Jones against Dallas or S Davis against Zona. My thought is to go with Davis b/c Zona's run D is not that great, he'll get more TD oppurtunites and Carolina will probably go ahead early which means they will run the ball alot late.

If Philly tightens up against the run early- then Jones will be shut down. If they come light early like last week- they may give up some yards early- but I don't think he'll get in the endzone... Plus if they get behind early- they'll have to run the ball.

The only guarentee I have is whichever I don't start will blow up and have a 300 yard day with 6 TD's.. :D

I go with who is facing the worse rush defense. Philadelphia and Arizona each allow 105-110 yards a game...a virtual draw. So the way I see it, Dallas will be playing from behind and have to comeback using the passing game. On the other, Carolina should be able to beat the Cardinals handedly and will likely run the ball to finish the game and preserve the victory. Both should get plenty of carries in the first half but you have think Dallas will either be tied or behind the Eagles and Carolina should be safely ahead of the Cardinals. To make a long story, short...go with Stephen Davis given his situation.

Who is your #1 RB by the way?

The Cardinals are 6-4 at Sun Devil Stadium, so considering that Carolina is coming off Monday Night Football and traveling to the Southwest is it all too much to overcome? I don’t think so. Carolina is a physical team, and doesn’t play with speed and finesse. They may just take the approach to grind out a win by three.

I'd go with Davis...

Marley, I hope you were able to make this critical decision without too much pain, pressure or discomfort.

Good call. He's liable to toss up 3 picks against the Skins defense.

Davis: 46 yards, 1 TD
Jones: 72 yards

Neither had stellar days...who did you start? At least James gave you 147 total yards and a TD.

Started Davis- so I got 10 points.. made the right decision- but I'm still going to lose. Smith was only receiver that did anything, the Eagles D shit the bed on me and Plummer did nothing... I'm up by 8 right now- but he has Gates & Kaeding tommorow night- so I'm f'cked!

You did alright. My two starters this week in one of my leauges are Najeh Davenport and Julius Jones who both got injured before halftime and did not return. On the bench for my rb's this week are Mike Anderson and Willie Parker. Ahman Green is on my team, but of course he was out injured. I picked up Davenport because of the Saints bad run defense which for a half was a good move.

Never say die. I was up 2 last week vs. Dave and he had Ahman Green on Monday night. I was seeing it as a sure loss, but Green only put up 2 points. Tie kept the Chalupas in first.

Until today. Horn, Andre Davis and C. Williams fucked me in my mouth.
