Where did Tommy Grady end up transferring? Do you think he'd be in there by now had he stayed? I bet he's kicking himself right now for leaving the program. That said, it's too early to give up on Bomar. But what I've seen from him, I'm not sure he really has a ton of upside. Freshmen QB's make bad decisions. He's not only making bad decisions, he's making bad throws. But I have not seen enough of him to pass complete judgement just yet.

Dear God let Sam Bradford be better than what we have now.Believe the Heupel wrote:Pathetic.
Really.
Wishing for the starting QB to transfer?
Guess what, Dave? Paul Thompson isn't as good a QB as Bomar is. If he was, he'd be the starter. McEachern isn't as good as Bomar divided by Thompson.
Bomar is who we've got for now. Deal.

i'll wait to reserve judgement on Bomar until he plays behind a non-musical chairs (and non-pitiful) offensive line.
hopefully, that will be at Oklahoma. ;)

BtH I wouldn't trust the USN&Wr as fr as college ranking go.Believe the Heupel wrote:He didn't flunk out. He was academically ineligible. There is a difference.
And I think that in the latest issue of USN&WR, OU had passed Utah, but I could be wrong.

keep in mind when you transfer a lot of schools only count the credits they accept and not the ones failed or withdrawn from. He might be ineligible in Oklahoma but in good standing in Utah just because he hasn't attempted anything yet.

you mean Thompson couldn't do better than 12-33 for 94 yards 1 TD 1 Int against Texas?Believe the Heupel wrote:Pathetic.

or 5-13 for 42 yards and two Ints against Tulsa?
his passer rating is 94.6!
Thompson IS the better QB for the offense they're running right now but the offense they're running right now ISN'T the offense they planned on or want to run.
they want to throw more and get the ball downfield more but they can't.
aside from Wilson, the receivers suck and Bomar can't get it downfield.
do you realize the longest completion they have is 27 yards?
they feel Bomar will be the QB for four years where Thompson could only for the QB for two years and the extra two years ex. will help Bomar during his Jr. and Sr. years.
and it probably will.
he just sucks right now and wishing him to transfer was the nicing thing I could think of happening to him;)
