saw them at club soda here in kzoo for $15 as part of widr (wmu's campus radio station) barking tuna fest. mgo had been telling me for a long time to get with the program, but i just discovered them three weeks ago. it was good shit, but it could have been better. they didn't play as much shit off twin cinema as i had hoped, but it was a good show nonetheless.
highlights for me were bleeding heart show, twin cinema, streets of fire, and jackie dressed in cobras. really would have been nice to hear stacked crooked, three or four, broken beads, or these are the fables. but cal neuman is the man and neko case is brilliant (somethings work, but me i choose to lose my skin in the dirt.).
