Fred Rouse suspended
Heard this morning that Rouse will be serving a one game suspension this week for his temper tantrum last Sat. night.
I was very pleased to learn this. I think what is in play here is a much needed life lesson for Rouse. I suspect that he, like generally all kids with game growing up, has been expected to adhere to a much more lax set of standards than most kids.
It is my hope that the kid learns not only that his behavior is detrimental to the team but more importantly can lead to big time problems for him in life when he has to compete in "general population of society"

Rouse was farting around on the opposite side of the sideline and the coaches couldnt find him to put him into the game. When confronted by a coach Rouse went "T.O" on the coach and had to be restrained by some players.
I agree w/ Nolesy. Rouse hasnt probably had to follow many rules the past 4-5 years b/c he was such a dominating player at the HS level and a Top 5 player in the country. He has the talent to be an AA but outburts like these wont gain him respect from the coaches or the older [players on the team.

This sounds like a punishment to fit a first offense like this. Lets see how he handles it.Cicero wrote:Rouse was farting around on the opposite side of the sideline and the coaches couldnt find him to put him into the game. sure he would still get the suspension but it would have to wait till we play a meaningless opponent.
