You'll have to excuse pmscal. He's shall we say, "in the flow"? You know, that time and all.jiminphilly wrote:Not even for stopping LT? Something you and both said could not happen?mvscal wrote:ZERO props for the Eagles. Fuck you.

I wasn't playing.mvscal wrote:You get props for nothing. You should have lost that game and you know it.
But if you mean the Eagles, all I can say is the Chargers didn't deserve to win it any more than the Eagles did. There was sloppy play on both sides including Caldwell not protecting the ball on that last reception. Had he held on the chargers might have at least tied it.

Going by that logic- no one deserved to win. They were equal in penalties- both teams looked REAl ugly yesterday.
Our D's gave up up about the same amounts of yardage (320 for San Diego, 312 for Philly) Brees had a 77 QB rating, Mcnabb a 64.8 (and one of the INT's he threw was Lewis' fault for not holding onto the ball). It came down to two things. Special teams and the play of our D. Other than the end of the third, beginning of the 4th quarter- the Bolts offense was Philly's bitch. They stepped up and made plays when they had too and kept us in the game when the offense wasn't doing shit. They shut down LT and made Brees look plain out ordinary most of the game.

B-Dawk is big on protecting his QB. After that cheap shot on McNabb- he was just responding. :Dtrev wrote:Props to Philly. They had the extra week and they made use of it. Stopped LT. Saw the weak spot and exposed our field goal kicking team. Dawkins can kiss my bolt though for slamming Drews head into the ground.
