Daniels coming in during the second half was necessity, and that was only for a play. Smith coming out for a whole series during the first half was planned, the announcers noted that Pinkel said he'd work Daniels in. I can certainly understand wanting to get your future starter quality reps but when your O is on fire and D isn't that good you better prioritize holding on to momentum. IMO that helped us turn the tide in the first half. Unfortunately there was no tide-turning in the second.

after all, a guy turning his head to you, is always a threat. He should be immediately attakced in true thugsker fassion. Since noones grilfriend was around to choke or strangle, just hit an opposing teams student body!

That was the best hit of Huston's career, served the little mizzou pussy right for being where he wasn't supposed to be...I'll bet candyass Mizzou yob-boy in general jumped the field a little more wiser after that experience.

Overall though a good win for Mizzou, I'm damned glad Smith won't be around next year. Looking at the remaining schedules for the top 3 in the North, a showdown between CU and Mizzou is getting more realistic. And to be quite honest, I can accept anyone winning the north except those Sumbitch mutherfuckers from Boulder...So Good Luck the rest of the year.. Nebraska will throttle your boys next year..

You run on the field(where you don't belong) and run up to a player yelling shit you risk getting jacked. I admit I was on the field after beating OU back in like 91 but I left the players alone. First, I was there to celebrate not rub-it-in, second I knew talking shit to a pissed-off OU player would put me at risk for getting drilled like the Mizzou kid got.
After the incident in Columbia I actually read an account of a Neb-student pulling the same kind of crap after we beat OU, and he got similar results. My opinion of both incidents is the same, mess with the bull you better be ready to get the horns.

Props again on a nice win though. We got SERIOUSLY outcoached on Saturday. You had a hell of a gameplan and you executed it. Good luck in the rest of the season.
