I got bad news Pats fans. I picked the Pats in my suicide pool. This is a second half of the season pool. The last 3 I have played I got knocked out in the first week.

Have fun.

The O-line is killing us with all the laundry they are leaving on the field.

Been watchin' the game and the five mins or so of the pregame... is Bruschi playing?

BTW, only 11 minutes into the game and he's looking very winded. They better limit his plays or they will hamstring themselves.

He will be overused since the rest of the defense seems to like being on the field so much.

Concerned mostly about the defense. McGaxhee pretty much runs where he wants.
Different looking Defense w/o Richard Seymour <sp> in there.

A spark in the darkness? Dillon running with a little purpose? 7 points on the board? Maybe this is where it all turns around finally. I want to see the defense man up and make a stop on 3rd down this series or get a turnover.

Cant convert 3rd down on offense, cant get off the field on 3rd down with defense. Indy is coming to town next week and I think the Patriots forgot to play the Bills tonight.

A win is a win but that type of sloppy play will not work vs. the Colts. Better work it out on the practice field this week AND get Seymour back for next Monday night.

I'm just as happy to see him back on the field too, but it got over the top last night. Almost to a point that they were saying he was making plays, even when he was on the bench. At least his wife didn't look like Kurt Warner's. If they had panned to her one more time, I would have asked for a money shot at least.

ESPN Northeast was paying way too much attention to Bruschi. Glad to see him back, but the ESPN Northeast crew was salivating over him the entire game.

I agree it was a little over the top. Don't think anybody has ever returned from what he went through however.

Sure somebody has.

And Jason Giambi had a pretty decent season in '05, too.

And lest we forget about Barry Bonds return in September, as well....

I present to you Tom Kite, John Daly, Greg Norman, Bernard Lagner, etc. In fact, I'll give you the entire PGA and LPGA, sir. And the stroke penalty they suffered was more than likely the result of a previous night of rum and coke....not steriods.

Face it. Bruschi was a juicemonster. But since he was a Beantown juicemonster, his shriveled up shit doesn't stink. Yes?

You really are a tard......

Any chance we can get the ignore button back around here?

Looks like the lovefest isn't over yet. Two tackles was enough to glean Ted the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Link
NEW YORK -- New England's Tedy Bruschi, returning to the lineup eight months after a stroke, is the AFC's defensive player of the week.

Bruschi had 10 tackles Sunday in the Patriots' 21-16 win over Buffalo. He played nearly full-time in his first game since the Super Bowl.

Other AFC players honored were Denver quarterback Jake Plummer (offense) and Houston's Jerome Mathis (special teams).

The NFC players of the week were Tiki Barber of the New York Giants (offense); Charles Tillman of Chicago (defense) and Joe Nedney of San Francisco (special teams).
My bad... the tally is up to ten tackles now.

Rack Jake the Snake and his 674 yards and 8 TD performance against the Iggles, though.
