Coach of the Year?

Post by campinfool »

The season still has some big games left, but does anyone have some worthy candidates? I think Shula at Alabama deserves a nomination. After Price, Probation, and Fran no one gave Shula or Alabama much of a chance really. Even though their offense looks bad they are still undefeated. They keep winning games and putting those bitter memories to rest.

Coker

Miami lost a lot, and offensively they were woefull early. team has come around. Has to get some kind of recognition.

went in and beat Vtechs face in. on the road too.

Brown

Finally got over the hump, beat OU, and took OSU out in the shoe.

I guess even after the loss Karl Dorell should get some love. And the comeback coach should go to Joe Paterno. The verdict is still out on Charlie Weis. They may be 6-2 but some of those victories were against mediocre competion.

What, no love for Stoops? It's well known he is the best coach in America.

My vote for COA is either Spurrier at USC or Morris at Baylor. SS has done a fantastic job.

If bama runs the table it will be a slam dunk for Shula.

Mack has overwhelming talent on his side thats why he won't get consideration.

Joe P., Shula or Mack (although he has no shot) at this point.

I think Mack gets no votes because being one of the highest paid coaches with all that talent, he is kind of doing what has been expected. Plus he has posted impressive win- loss records for quite a few years.

Man, even when we lost pretty much every game in the 90s MacWhorter and Mackovic never got this far inside our heads.

Shula's a very good choice. Good reasoning, cf.
Well after one loss its pretty obvious that we are in your head.

McWhorter is not McWilliams.
