Iowa Basketball player to face charges.

A West Des Moines police spokesman told KWWL this afternoon the charges stem from an incident involving a young woman last Thursday night. The possible charges include first degree burglary, second degree criminal mischief, false imprisonment and assault with intent to commit injury.

West des moines police tell KWWL the alleged incident occurred between Thursday night at 11:44 PM and Friday night at 7:44 PM. West Des Moines police would not confirm that Pierre Pierce is the suspect. But, WHO-TV is confirming, through its sources, that the suspect is Pierre Pierce.

Late this afternoon, KWWL sports contacted Phil Haddy, sports information director at the University of Iowa. Haddy will only confirm that head basketball coach Steve Alford has heard these rumors.

Pierce is not under arrest. He practiced with the team this afternoon in Iowa City.

In 2002, Pierce was accused of sexual assault and later pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of assault causing injury.

West Des Moines police say this is an ongoing investigation. They expect to have more information about this case tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm here. Time for Pierce and Alford both to be gone. Enough is enough. I don't blame Alford for this, but I'm tired of this kind of crap happening on his watch. Even if we make the tourney (and I still think we will), Alford should be fired. I am eagerly awaiting Steve's call-in show that comes on the air in T-minus 23 minutes. Should be rather entertaining!

If Pierce is guilty.....he is the dumbest fuck in the world. He was given a 2nd chance, even after most of the Iowa fans did not want him to be given a 2nd chance. And he possibly screwed it all up. If guilty, I hope he gets a jail sentence of at least 2-3 years. Then, comes out of jail and turns his life around and makes something of it. But he can stay the hell away from the University of Iowa and Hawkeye basketball.

BYE BYE STEVE!!

A friend of mine heard from an aquaintance of the cops that he broke into his Ex's house, trashed it, slapped her around, and stole her computer. I guess she doesn't want to press charges but it's in the states hands now.

The Hawk fans I've talked to want him gone. It maybe wrong to say but they may be better without him.

We won't be better without him, but he has to go if charges are filed. The team will not be better without Pierce and anyone that says that doesn't know what they're talking about. Pierce is the best defender and scorer on the team. He had a shot at Big-10 player of the year. Sure, he turned the ball over a lot, but he is an unbelieveable talent. There's a lot of Iowa fans out there trying to convince themselves that the team will be better off without him, but that couldn't be any further from the truth.

He's a turnover waiting to happen and cranks up more 3's a game that ESPN ran ads for "3." Also, he's a dipshit. Look at how well the Raptors are doing without Vince Carter. Chin up, lil' Jonny...

The Portland TrailBlazers select Pierre Pierce.
"Our staff is going to ensure that anyone who attends this University and wears the Indiana uniform will make this privilege among their highest priorities and not treat the opportunity as an entitlement,'' Crean said in a statement. "We fully expect our student-athletes to accept the responsibilities academically, athletically and socially that come with representing one of the top programs in college basketball history."

Pierre Pierce was dismissed from the Iowa Hawkeyes Basketball team today.

Asked to comment coach Steve Alford said, "Anybody know any good movers?"

Oh yeah, he's a Trailblazer waiting to happen. The emphasis being on "blazer," apparently.

But if there was one team out there that I'd like to party with, it'd be Portland. They know how I roll.

He ransk 10th in the Big-10 in ASST:TO ratio. I know he turns the ball over a lot, but his positives far outweigh his negatives.

But he's a deuche bag and can rought in hell. Bye bye Pierre....Don't let the door hit ya' where your girlfriend kicked ya'!
