T, aside from the piss poor play calling and coaching it appears the offensive players are just demoralized and clearly don't believe in the coaching staff. D players look frustrated and I am wondering where the hell is Lee? They should have put him in at the begining of the second half.
Fuck the ACLU. It will always be Merry Christmas to me.

THis game was the reason I wasn't talking this week. I had the biggest fear this was going to be a pounding. Our OL and Secondary is just awful.
First half, why would you have dance happy booker try for half a yd on fourth down when you have Coleman and Washington on your team?
We lost percy harvin with this game for sure. Never would I have imagined that our play was going to start effecting recruits who are die hard nole fans. But hell, I can't blame the kid...I wouldn't come to FSU either at this point.

Players aren't dumb, they figure out what kind of coaching staff they work under. Right now I doubt if they feel much confidence in the Bowdens right now.
If Bobby really cares about your program Jeff will not be OC next year and some other changes will be made as well.
FSU still has the talent so you have to point at coaching. But at least you can take solace in the talent still being there, if you guys make the right change you'll be back in the top10 before you know it.

That game was depressing. In the 4th Qtr I was still watching it, but I couldnt understand why. Its like I could see a carwreck happening in slow motion, but I couldnt avert my eyes. Are you saying that a team w/ 3 losses who gave up 30 to South Carolina shut us out w/ the talent we have?
First, our O-Line is horrendous. 3 guys have been lost for the season, but why is there such a drop off in our back-ups? Drew had no time to throw and he was getting hit on almost every pass attempt. He is one tough fucker though, to get up every single time.
Second, Bobby needs to step down. He built this program from nothing, but now he is tearing it down, brick by brick. His blind loyalty to his idiot, vanilla play calling son is ruining the program. Bobby doesnt inspire anyone anymore and i doubt he has for several years now. He isnt fired up anymore and he seems to have lost the admiration of its players.
Third, I feel bad for our D. I couldnt imagine holding UF to one TD in the first half to only have your offense give you constant 3 and outs. No wonder they are tired at the end of every game. We have so much talent and speed on the Def side of the ball and it has been wasted b/c they feel as if they have to shut everybody out. I hope Ernie stays b/c next year the depth on the D-Line and secondary will be on par w/ our sick LB's.
The Boosters need to step up and force Bobby out. He will never leave and will never get rid of his son. We need a head coach who wants to lead a team instead of leaving everything in the hands of the coaching staff. I would like to see a coach w/ an NFL pedigree come in on the offensive side of the ball and would promote Kevin Steele to head coach. He is young, fiery, a great recruiter and the players respect the shit out of him.

Yeah, considering his High School coach will be on Urban's staff next year as an assistant, I'm pretty sure you can call him a Gator.TheChief wrote:We lost percy harvin with this game for sure. I think this game was huge for Florida. It shows what direction these two programs are moving in.
Carl Johnson reaffirmed his decision. We still have huge recruits undecided. When Urban starts getting his studs to run his version of his offense.....I feel great about the direction of the program.

Fayson is a good pickup. He verballed last year to USF and then backed out. I have see him play a couple of times and he is a good fit for Meyer's offense. He could use a bit of work on his throwing, but that will come in time.T REX wrote:http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/co ... CID=484256

Mucho,
Fayson went to the same school as me. I have seen him play a couple of times and he is going to be a great player. I personally thought he was going to Miami, but I guess he has a better chance to play at UF. Good pickup w/ Stirrups. I think he is going to see a lot of playing time next year.

Yeah, I knew about that for a while now. I would definitely like to follow my high school coach to a major D1 program no matter where it was. I know USC is going to be a huge player in all of this as well.Killian wrote:Yeah, considering his High School coach will be on Urban's staff next year as an assistant, I'm pretty sure you can call him a Gator.TheChief wrote:We lost percy harvin with this game for sure. WTF dude? I've been a Gator fan all my life. No, I don't have season tickets but that's because I can't drive down to Gainesville every f*n Saturday during football season and I also can't afford to keep going to Gator games and spend money on alcohol and food and gas all the time. So I try to go to the bigger, higher profile games as much as possible. Went to Georgia and to FSU and I'm happy we won both. What's with all the name calling? Sorry your team lost on Saturday, but there's no need to take it out on me. And I don't post often in this forum because I don't know every damn thing there is to know about college football. Just thought I'd brag a little after this weekend's game because it WAS fun and it WAS an exciting win for us. Quit being a sore loser. I apologize that my posting in your thread pissed you off, but last time I checked, there weren't any rules forbidding me to do so.Mr T wrote:Dont worry about it Mucho.
