Rumor is that Rudy T is going to leave for health reasons. I guess that's the nicest way of saying he's fucking sick and tied of dealing with Kobe's shit.

Cant argue with that at all. fucking sucks. As a Laker fan it sickens me to see what this team has become in less then a year.

Rudy has learned that it is not possible to underestimate the heart of a jake.

Health reasons? I'm betting it's Kobe cancer. :?

That's now 2 coaches that the coach killer Kobe has whacked (allegedly) in what, the last 6 months? Hell at this point Jerry Buss should just coach the team because obviously he's the only person at this point who likes Kobe enough to put up with his pompous arrogant ass.

LOS ANGELES - Rudy Tomjanovich is considering resigning as Los Angeles Lakers coach because of health reasons, a team spokesman said Tuesday.

ESPN.com reported that Tomjanovich would step down following Tuesday night’s game against Portland, a 92-79 Lakers victory.

That wasn’t the case — just as spokesman John Black had said earlier in the day.

“He’s considering several options and resigning is one of them. That decision has not been made,” Black said. “There won’t be an announcement tonight. He won’t coach tonight because he’s not feeling well. This has nothing to do with cancer.”

The 56-year-old Tomjanovich, who won two NBA championships with the Houston Rockets, missed the Lakers’ win over Charlotte on Sunday night because of what the team said was a stomach virus. He returned to the coaching ranks this season after recovering from bladder cancer.

Black said Tomjanovich has had a sinus infection as well as the stomach virus.

“It’s health-related,” Black said about Tomjanovich’s absence. “He loves the team and the team loves him. He’s our head coach until he decides to do otherwise.”

Awww, more trouble for the Lakers?

That's just a shame.

Sincerely,

Spurs fan.

Nice double-speak. "He's the head coach until he isn't". :P
