I heard him say " Top 5 " , right after that scrambling TD pass in the first half , that was ruled a TD after review .trev wrote:Didn't he say top 5 or 6?drummer wrote:Thiesmann just said it :
" I think Drew Brees is one of the top 5 QBs in the league " .I agree. I'm sure the rest of the board does also. If you don't, let's hear it.
How did Mikey Vick do today?

Leaving at halftime was no way to treat our host.
Al, what are you waiting for.....?
3 things:
1. This is the first time in Raider History that we've had 3 straight losing seasons. Unfucking Acceptable. I cant believe the trainwreck im witnessing here.....all this fucking talent-Moss, Porter, Gabriel, Jordan, Burgess......all being fucking wasted because Al refuses to do 2 goddamn things that are THE most important-Hire a hardass, PROVEN, veteran coach, and concentrate on getting us a few decent O-Lineman.
Collins fucking sucks no matter what-but at least give the bitch a chance to sling it. Nice raider record, collins-you are now 7-21 as our QB. Fucking Cunt.
A coach.
A fucking COACH.
Hey Al, you listening motherfucker? We need a COACH.
Jimmy fucking Raye.....if I see you, I will fucking fight you.
We need to just get tui in there and see what he's made of. He can scramble, and make snap decisions on the fly. With 4 games left, Collins will not be coming back-why not let Tui show what he can do?
2. Enjoy this heartwrenching little stretch here, AFC West foes-because sooner than later, the Raiders will be on top again.........bank on it. With the talent on this team, the corner WILL be turned quickly.
3. RACK my raidernation brothers-these truly are the DARKEST days of our franchises history, and to see you guys still coming strong just reaffirms what everybody knows already-that Raiderfans are the most loyal, diehard motherfuckers on the planet.
Win, Lose, or Tie-Raiders till I fucking DIE.
Because he was available....?JHawkBCD wrote:I still don't get why Skeledavis hired Raye after having seen his offensive genius at work for the Chiefs at the end of the Schottenheimer days & into the Gunther era.
Facin' facts, at this point I think coaches are not knockin' down the door to work 'for' Al.
Al's gonna have to get 'lucky' to get a hungry, young, solid, energetic young guy like Gruden was, chompin' at the bit to get a head coach gig, OR, another retread like Norv who pretty well sucks ass.
We all want Norv gone, but I shudder to think of who might be NEXT on Al's short list.
The next head coach hire is critical, and I'm not confident that the 'right' guy will end up in Oakland.
Hope I am wrong.
I'm not sure Reggie Bush is gonna make it as an every down guy in the NFL.
Oddly enough, I'd feel better about his chances if he were a couple of inches shorter.
He's listed as 6'0'' 200
For example, here are the sizes of this year's top 5 nfl rushers:
E. James: 6'0" 214
S Alexander: 5'11" 225
T. Barber: 5'10'' 200
W. Dunn: 5'9" 180
L. Tomlinson: 5'10" 221
If he gained some weight I suppose he might pack as much 'punch' as E. James, but I don't see Bush as that sort of runner.
Edge doesn't have quite as much speed as he did, but he is capable of 'moving the pile' a bit.
I don't think Reggie will be a 'pile mover' at the NFL level.
He's definitely a gamebreaker, a homerun hitter.
Hey, whoever gets him is gonna get themself a HELLUVA threat, but I think Bush is gonna have to share the rushing load wherever he ends up.
