***2006 DEATH POOL***

An old poster pal from over at trolltrain, Harsh, has started up their pool for the upcoming season of predicting deaths. Harsh's rules looked like fun, so hopefully with his blessing we will borrow them for our own use.

Can a mod or Admin. please sticky this until midnight of Dec. 25th please? I'll keep score...

Here are the rules.

1. Pick 5 names, must be famous people, list the names and what made them famous i.e. Movie they were in, political position, something that put them in the history books, significant contribution to society, commercial....etc. Once a name has been picked it can not be used again.

2. If that person dies between Jan 1, 2006 and Dec 31, 2006 you will be credited in points the age of the person subtracted from 100.. If I take a flyer like Mary-Kate Olsen and she dies at 20 I get 80 points.

3. Person with the most points on Jan 1, 2007 will win $20.

4. 10 extra points will be awarded for those that also pick the cause of death.

5. Picks must be in by Dec 25, 2005.

PLEASE LOOK TO MAKE SURE SOMEONE HAS NOT ALREADY TAKEN YOUR CHOICES. THE FIRST TO LIST THE NAME IS THE FIRST THAT GETS THAT FUTURE DEAD GUY/GAL.

Seeing Tookie, who's on the frying pan in Calif., and Saddam...seems to be a given pick, but who knows. I'm not saying those were picks under the loin cloth per se, ...they are just picks that I didn't think about. hahaha

I remember when 9-11 came around and we were discussing the expected lifespan of Osama. Old Luth was the only one who said he'd still be around now. I believe some friends of mine owe me some serious bowls of rice.
