Brady Quinn on Rome today

Post by Cicero »

Anybody here it? He was on 1st segment in the 2nd hour. That guy is pure class. He said he was 99.9% sure he is coming back next year. That Bodes well for ND and bad for its opponents. He'll likely throw for 3800-4000 yards next year. Rome liked him a lot.

"Good interview, nice job Brady, thats a solid jungle guy, well Notre Dame has the Kharma, hope tOSU can get someone in here before the bowl game....."

Rome liked him because he came on his show. If he doesn't go on his show he won't like him.

Agreed, except for the fact that Rome used to hate ND with a passion. Now he's getting their guys on his show, so it's a little different.

The QA Manager at one of my vendors in South Bend is friends of the Quinn faimly. He told me two months ago that Quinn is coming back. His parents don't think he's mature enough or ready for the NFL and they say he's coming back. Dude will be in town next week, so I'll find out if that's still the word.

I hate ND, but I like Brady Quinn. Dude is nails.

Cool, thanks.

Honestly, I think another year under Weis and Quinn will be one of the top 2 picks in the draft next year. And looking at the top 15 and who needs a QB this year, it appears that he would get better QB coaching with another year in college than if he went pro. Quinn is a freak.

I am still a fan, but I would much rather listen to Bruno. I think his show is funnier and Bruno doesnt take himself as seriously as Twat Bitch.

(...with me, Jim Rome).

actually sort of on topic, i really like Quinn and Samardzija....if you like football they are fun to watch.

I'd still rather listen to Rome than the other national shows, Patrick and company tend to bore me. I think it has just become the in-thing to bash Rome now like it used to be to listen to him. But I would definitely say that the show has gone down hill. It was better when Rome was a dick that wouldn't consider having a neckcar guy on, there were fewer boring, cliche-ridden interviews, and more smack from the callers.

The smackfest was definitely better than the suck-up-to-guestsfest

As far as Quinn goes I think he should stay another year, he could be the #1 pick then or at least in the top5.

So I talked to the Domer from SB who's a family friend of the Quinn's. This is the deal. There's only one scenario that would have to happen in order for Brady to come out. He won't specify what it is, but everyone seems to think that scenario would have to be him going #1, which just doesn't seem remotely possible this year. I'd bank on Quinn coming back next year.

You can doubt me all you want, petey, you have the right to do so. When the story breaks about Quinn's sister dating AJ Hawk, come back and we can talk some more.

It already has. But honestly, thanks for the info. That's similar to what I've heard. I have heard that Weis has talked to him and advised him to go only if he were to be the #1 pick. And considering that the Texans or 49'ers will have the first pick, and Reggie Bush is in this draft, he isn't going #1. Next year, assuming he has another good season, he will be the #1 QB taken. And honestly, he'd get better coaching with another year at ND than he would with most NFL teams, in terms of QB development.

Fuck ND and Fuck Charlie Weis! Those talentless shitbags are nothing more than media darlings. It doesn't matter if Quinn stays or not, they are still going to be a 3 loss team this year, and a 4 loss team next year. Three of those four coming from the Big 10. Then we will see all these bandwagon polesmokers close their hole. Five year extension on an existing five year contract -- YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!

Care to expound? What 3 teams from the Big 10 will beat ND next year?
