Pens history of hiring shit coaches since Eddie Johnston stepped down continues...Michel Therrien???? He isn't any better than Olczyk.
When is Craig Patrick going to get the boot? The problem isn't the coaching, the problem is a GM that can't find a winning formula.

Most of their high-priced additions have been major flops...I definitely think you can point the finger at Patrick as much as you can at Olczyk. Crosby fell into their laps...can't give them credit for making that move. Thibault has been waived, Gonchar hasn't done squat when this new style of play should've catered perfectly to him and LeClair is clearly over-the-hill in his career. Palffy is still a quality player but his health has become an issue in the last few seasons. Recchi has been a solid addition as well...they had signed him before the lockout. They've got a very good core of young talent with Crosby, Malone, Christensen, Whitney, Orpik and Fleury and they still have Malkin waiting in the wings. This team should full-on rebuild but they can't afford to scare off the fans when they need all of the revenue they can get. It's a bad situation in Pittsburgh. (Sincerely, Marcus Allen)
