Personally, I'm not sure if I laugh or get mad at this one. He's one low piece of shit and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that his former players have very vocally stated they hated him.

What school doesn't belong....Michigan, USC, Cal and Washington. That recruit should do the smart thing and not go to the Suckies.

Wow, has Ty never heard that a player can keep his scholarship and be taken off the team for medical reasons.

Texas has several players that are no longer part of the program because of injuries to back or shoulder and such, but kept their scholarship.

This is the type of move that will exile him in the eyes of the high school coaches. If I were the high school coach of that kid I wouldn't let his staff near my athletes. I would recomend to each of them to consider WSU or any other school over U-Dub. Of course I'm only talking about the kids with D-1A level talent.

Ya Willingham should've gave the kid a medical-hardship schollie. Ya the school has to come-up with the $ but at least it doesn't go against the your football schollie numbers, a kid that got hurt playing for the U isn't hung out to dry, and like you said it is better public relations.

As much as we all love and focus on college football, these kids did commit to UW with the promise of an education. Truthfully, a lot of these kids end up not caring about the education, but there's no excuse for the noble, honorable and dignified black man to yank their schollies and boot 'em out of class. This cuts directly against the very reason ND hired Willingham in the first place, and the reason he got any run while at Stanford.

Pressure to win in Seattle must be high...while I've grown accustomed to bitch moves by this moron over the years, this one is surprising and quite simply wrong.

Agree it will fuck up his recruiting in the future.

He does that on his own with the laziest fucking staff in America. He will be fired in 4 years, take a positiong coaching job in the pros, and laugh at the two schools who are stupid enough to still be paying him.
