Jonesing for a Gal post

Post by PSUFAN »

As PSU's first real bowl game in years approaches (eat shit crappy CapOneBowl), I am reminded of Aggie Gal, and the '99 Alamo Bowel, and the little friendly flame war we had prior to that game.

Here's to our favorite Desperado, gal! Hope the holidaze find you well.

Dude was a total waste. NEVER should have gone into the draft. One great game in the Independence Bowel, a game which we lost to Miss St., and he thinks he's a first rounder.

Who knows where he would have ended up had he stayed one more year. Same for Slocum.

Ah, the memories, PSUFAN: Flame wars, semi-nude Paterno dolls, nude pics, and delightful Yankee beer.

Random Insight from a Stranger You've Known for Over 8 Years: You have the best musical taste of anyone on the Board who has revealed such information. The Pogues? The Clash? I'm starting to tear up.

TOOOOOOMBS went into the NFL combine TOOOOOOO FAT. I don't know if you guys heard that he came back to A&M after not being drafted or signed and took up Intramural ball. Ended up breaking a guy's shoulder AND arm. He was asked to leave Intramurals.

Frisco, he had more than one great game. Remember the LOUD-ASS Nebraska game at Kyle Field? Also, if Slocum RUNS him against the Sooners as the game ends, Ags upset OU. Sooners couldn't stop him.

I know he had some other great moments, especially "the run" against OU.

He just never had anything in his college career though that said he was ready for the next level. His downfall was of his own doing, and part of the downfall of Aggie football. We really could have used him his senior year.

If they've played in one since 1995, I don't remember it.

Assholes.

But I get through each day knowing in my heart of :hearts: that someday, somewhere, Kerry Collins will die a horrible, painful death. And hopefully that Jerivisciousious guy will be there with him.

Not quite understanding this take. Must be some sort of history behind it as one would have to have a legit reason for disliking a guy like Jurevicous.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that PSU beat Oregon in a bowl game in 95.

Close. PSU beat Oregon in THE Bowl Game not "A bowl game", back before all of this BCS nonsense.

Many building years and many Nike dollars went into getting that first-in-quite-a-while Rose Bowl, then Collins and Jurevicius went and screwed it all up.

It wasn't even any consolation that PSU got absolutely screwed out of the Title that year, either. It actually made it worse.

Damn, hold a grudge much? That game crossed my mind too, but did Oregon fan actually have any delusions of grandeur that actualy entailed a win? It's not like you were EXPECTING a win... so how far was there to fall? If you were expecting, it should have been squashed on the first play from scrimmage anyways ('sup Kijana?... Why the hell ain't he on your list anyways?). One play, and OregonFan sholda known their rightful place and accepted it rather than holding a grudge.

Some dude that was a neighbor of my grandmother's in Akron got two picks in that game for PSU. Penzenik was his last name, I think. Dude barely made a peep in the regular season, IIRC, and no doubt to this day he is terrified of what the 2005 USC squad would do to his team.

bwaaahaha, rack degenerate

PSU's scrubs got the stink blown off of them that day. Surely, their toes curl in fear at the prospect of facing the colossus that is 2005 Troy.
