You are a fucking waste of human life. I hope they take you off the map of the human genome. I wouldn't want any more of you wandering the earth polluting the very space in which I live.

Frankly, I dont give a shit!

If you live in Louisiana... and/or a city that is built 10 feet below sea level... you deserve what happens to you.

You twit, you live on a fault line that someday is going to open up and swallow your city, and you have the nerve to fault other for living in a city that is 10 feet below sea level?

Does the 89 World series mean anything to you? I seem to remember your city falling apart and the rest of this country coming to your aid.

I guess the rest of the country needs to turn their back on Nocal the next time the big one hits, hell you dumbasses live on a fault line. And at the same time the next time Minnesota gets a monster snow storm you can feel free to not care about the people here since we're such dumbasses for living in a place that Snows.

And what I don't remember is the Giants using it as an excuse. How does it feel to be even bigger pussies than San Franciscans, Gulf Coasters?
TenTallBen wrote: Image

A tree fell down, and that justifies LSU sucking?

Are you serious?

So, tonight is the Holiday Bowl, and lo and behold, Western Oregon is under a flood watch and high wind warning. I'm guessing there will be more downed trees in one freaking backyard in Eugene than in the entire city of Baton Rouge. And nevermind that U of O is sitting next to a very big river that's about to bust its banks in the next couple of days, and some of those players may come home to some losses of property.

I haven't heard a peep out of the players or their fans about it. Matter of fact, if anything it will serve as extra motivation. And it sure the hell won't be used as an excuse if they come up short. See, people with class attribute a loss to the play of their opponent. Whiney fucking pussies blame externalities. If the tree didn't fall in the middle of the field during the game, who the hell cares? Get the hell over it and play some ball. If you're not ready to give it your all on the field and start making excuses for your failures, then get the hell out and let someone who wants to play step in.

Did the Israeli Olympic Team pack it in after 12 of their teammates were murdered? Did Notre Dame quit trying when the Gipper pooed his pants, or whatever it was he did? Did Raphael Palmeiro quit swinging for the fences when his dick quit working? Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Shut the fuck up and play ball.

The pic was posted to show m2ool that Baton Rouge sustained its share of damage from the Hurricane, not just N.O. and Miss.

Oh and LSU never quit against ASU. It was actually ASU that did the quitting in the 4th quarter of that game. LSU won the freaking game if you might recall. LSU quitting in the second half of the Tennessee is a different story.

You must like to argue just to hear the sound keys make as you pound on your keyboard, because some of the time you do not know what the fuck you are talking about. The scope and effects of Katrina (and Rita) on the states of Lousiana and Mississippi you just don't seem to get.

Keep on posting about something that you know nothing about and let that ignorance shine through.

Here's some more pics for your viewing pleasure.

No, it's mostly because I like to amuse myself and others by setting up my epic Raphael Palmeiro blasts and whatsuch.

Uhm, actually that's why I'm posting in this thread -- the "scope and effects of Katrina" seem to include causing football players and their fans' gonads to revert back into their infantile state. Hence, my "contribution" here.

Dude, the current deveastation in my neighborhood, while obviously nowhere near that of Katrina, is still FAR greater than what you posted pics of, and that's just in my neighborhood. So maybe I know just a liiiiitle bit about it. And that shit happens here a lot more than every 50 years, or whatever. Just a lot less whining associated with it.

.

LSU fan bitching about the effects of Katrina is laughable. My school, Tulane, has already cornered that excuse..though the Green Wave sucked before it as well.

Few Thoughts:

(1)Funny thing about SEC "powerhouses" like LSU and Bama is the great majority of their rabid fans didn't attend the schools..they went to SE Louisana, UAB, Ole Miss, and other "community college" level schools than piggy back on the success of the SEC schools.

(2) Don't keep up much with Pac 10..do they have as many schools that suck like the SEC....you know like..Ole Miss, MS State, Kentucky, Vandy.

(3)Hell, Ole Miss and State are afraid to even play Southern MS..much
less anyone else.

Bottom line is that both conferences have quality teams at the top. USC, LSU, Auburn, Oregon..its all good...why get worked up about it?

Oh yeah. But, it's a little different, in that the bottom end tends to rotate, rather than host the same few perrenial losers. Lately, it's been Washington(didn't they like win the championship in the last 15-20 years? Way to go, NewWeasel), Stanford, and Arizona (who has been recruiting their ASS off, so that might change). Oregon Stae, until Riley came onboard, was THE WORST D1 team for the 30 years before that. Not "pretty bad," not "really bad," but THE WORST team in D1 over a 30 year stretch. They were a lot more fun to follow back then -- listening to Beaverfan run theor mouth about how they were about one recruit short of moving to Lincoln was always priceless while their team was going 1-10 every year. Now that they play .500 ball, their fans are jusr obnoxious and annoying. And they want more than the old-school $5 for first row tix these days.

Bottom line is that both conferences have quality teams at the top. USC, LSU, Auburn, Oregon..its all good...why get worked up about it?

SEC fan is KILLING me.

Not only have they cornered the market on good football (just ask them...they said so), they've now cornered the market on disasters.

Uhm gee, Ben...I don't really have to go back months and months.

From...let's see...let me think...Oh, that's right...TODAY:

OH SHIT! A LITTLE TREE FELL DOWN!! CANCEL THE FREAKING GAME!!!

DEAR FUCKING GOD, WHERE'S THAT MICHAEL BROWN GUY WHEN YOU NEED HIM? HE'D GET THIS GAME CANCELLED, FOR SURE!!!

Bro, for trying to make the case that the Gulf Coast and its football players aren't a bunch of pussies, it would appear that you're being somewhat counterproductive.

You outed a troll you thought was me and then that troll retired? Did you get said troll to own up to being me? That is simply too funny. Link? Wish I would have been there to see that. Much more hilarity would've ensued.

Dude, in the five years and the 5 or so message boards that I've frequented, I've never had a troll. Period.
Funny, then, that somebody created a troll with the nic you gave me.
I will admit to tossing a few poisonous barbs your liberal way under this nic, prolly the last being at TNW, but that was a looong time ago. Sorry to have caused you so much consternation that you've waited 3 years and two BBS's later to exact revenge.
Exact revenge? Grow up, dude. It's a funny comment, 's'all.
Tongue-in-cheek? Maybe that was your intention. But dude, you posted your daughter's full name, not to mention the full name of the other girls picked for the all-star team. And on the main board, no less. And going back to the original thread, I recall B_Smack remarking that the line was sig material.
So? Are you going to start making crank phone calls?
Now you've confused me with some of the other posters. Fwiw, I didn't even see it until Admin edited it. And it doesn't make no nevermind to me, in any event. But if it had been my kid, or me, I prolly would have been pissed.
In fairness, if you had a problem with me, or anyone else, using that line as a sig, you should have thought about that before posting it.
I didn't say I had a problem with it. I said that I "wondered".

Sure, it's all fair game. There are some petty, vicious 'tards out there looking to grind some dull axes, but I didn't think you were one of them.

Props on joining the JHawk BCD wanna' be fan club, and if you've been paying an ounce of attention, you'd know how that's working out.
Again, dude, lighten up, and grow up. It's just a funny line. If you can't laugh at yourself . . .
But since I'm basically a nice guy, most of the time anyway, I'll tell you what I'll do. If it bothers you to have me use that as a sig, PM me and I'll change my sig, no questions asked. Ball's in your court.
[fag] Don't expect any PM's from me. You know what to do with the ball. [/fag]
Jeez, here I figure I've offended, so I offer an olive branch, and this is what I get back . . .

On the LSU topic, I wouldn't exactly call their season "shitty." They were one win away from the BCS, and a Top 5 team at the time of the SEC championship game. They weren't going to play for the national championship, barring a major upset, of course, but that's a far cry from a "shitty" season.

The Tennessee loss, in hindsight, was a bad loss. But coming as it did, on the heels of Katrina and against a team that was a highly-ranked team at the time (albeit a clear pretender, even back then), it didn't look nearly so bad.

Demanding a groveling PM? :meds: I demanded nothing. I merely invited you to PM me if you were offended, considering that this matter probably would be best handled off the public realm of this board if that were the case. Then again, given your limited intellect and education, I'm not surprised that you can't grasp the difference here.
....to remove from your sig words that I posted that I'm not the least bit ashamed of, but that you're trying to somehow use again me. meds indeed.
I'm using nothing against you. As I said, I posted them because I thought they were funny. What part of that don't you get?

And btw, if you're "not the least bit ashamed of" that post, why are you melting like no other over the fact that I'm using it as a sig? Memo: you're not the first poster from whom I've borrowed part of a post to use as a sig, nor, in all likelihood, will you be the last. You are, however, the first one ever to melt about it. Ever.

I offered you a chance to let me know if it offended you, and you said it didn't. Under the circumstances, then, it will stay, at least until something funnier comes along.
You went after me with some weak ass punk shit, and I'm shoving it right back down your throat. Big surprise, not.

The ACC already has just as many wins as the pac-10 has bowl games with one game remaining.

Props to the pac-10 for beating Northwestern, BYU and Rutgers....

THOSE WINS RIGHT THERE PROVE THAT THE PAC 10 IS ABOVE THE REST AND CAL IS #1 IN THE COUNTRY.
