Favre's decision was just made easier. Packers fire Sherman!

Post by frodo_biguns »

A few weeks back Fare said he would stay if Sherman was there. Now that the Packers have fired Sherman you have to believe that was a message from the top too Favre also. In my opinion, it's a bit classless to treat a player of that maginitude that way, unless he had prior knowledge of it from up top. In any case, three new coaches in the NFC North next year. It should prove good fodder for the league.

That's why they're a.k.a. the NFC "Norris Division". :P

Good, Sherman was worthless. He never did anything with GB and this year is no excuse. Despite the horrible year they had this year, he hasn't taken advantage of the potential this team had. This is the only thing that will bring GB back to the spotlight.

I guess beating your ass in the playoffs last year wasn't enough for you. Now we had to sweep you and get your coach fired and force Favre into retirement. No matter what your ugly douchbag mouth spews. I will always hold over you that my team forced Favre into retirement.

Yeah.. my take of Tice being fired.

One of the talking heads on "SportsCenter" suggested tonight that Eagles offensive coordinator
Brad Childress is another possibility.
His experience working under Reid, in a similar system, could affect Favre's decision.
Stay tuned...

What will it take for you to put 2x2 together and not come up with 1? I know you are stupid, but my God!!!!!!!!!!

Are really this stupid? No really? I now understand why you don't have any friends. What a total Douchebag!

Since you didn't get the joke in the first place and I had you no matter what your pathetic answer would have been, I'll explain to your retarded Packer ass.

It is why they got rid of the 2 dollar bill. I know why 0=1 though, so here it is.

How 0! = 1 for reasons that are similar to why
x^0 = 1. Both are defined that way. But there are reasons for these
definitions; they are not arbitrary.

You cannot reason that x^0 = 1 by thinking of the meaning of powers as
"repeated multiplications" because you cannot multiply x zero times.
Similarly, you cannot reason out 0! just in terms of the meaning of
factorial because you cannot multiply all the numbers from zero down
to 1 to get 1.

Mathematicians *define* x^0 = 1 in order to make the laws of exponents
work even when the exponents can no longer be thought of as repeated
multiplication. For example, (x^3)(x^5) = x^8 because you can add
exponents. In the same way (x^0)(x^2) should be equal to x^2 by
adding exponents. But that means that x^0 must be 1 because when you
multiply x^2 by it, the result is still x^2. Only x^0 = 1 makes sense
here.

In the same way, when thinking about combinations we can derive a
formula for "the number of ways of choosing k things from a collection
of n things." The formula to count out such problems is n!/k!(n-k)!.
For example, the number of handshakes that occur when everybody in a
group of 5 people shakes hands can be computed using n = 5 (five
people) and k = 2 (2 people per handshake) in this formula. (So the
answer is 5!/(2! 3!) = 10).

Now suppose that there are 2 people and "everybody shakes hands with
everybody else." Obviously there is only one handshake. But what
happens if we put n = 2 (2 people) and k = 2 (2 people per handshake)
in the formula? We get 2! / (2! 0!). This is 2/(2 x), where x is the
value of 0!. The fraction reduces to 1/x, which must equal 1 since
there is only 1 handshake. The only value of 0! that makes sense here
is 0! = 1.

And so we define 0! = 1.
8)
I'm sorry that you only completed 5th grade math.

It would have been nice to see what Rodgers could do since Leinert may be available but the monkeys on this board thought that Mr Favre was an untouchable....yep...

Why, for telling Sapp to his face that he's a no-class, blindsiding, cheap-shot artist? That makes him "faggoty?" What did you want him to do, fist-fight him?

For what's it worth, Sapp went from TV commercials and headlines to obscurity and failure in Oakland -- couldn't have happened to a bigger arsehole.

Props to Sherman. He cared about his players and they played hard for him, even during an injury riddled 4-12 season. I wish him nothing but the best.

As for next year, I'd like to see Bates get a chance at head coach, maybe with Mooch as offensive coordinator.

It was a sucker punch, thrown by a coward with the intent to injure a guy who wasn't looking and was nowhere near the play.

Sapp has no class.

RACK Sherman for telling him to his face.

Our coaches always taught you never quit playing until the whistle blows.
The hit was clean- it was Clifton's fault for half assing his way around and not paying attention.

Sapp was wrong for celebrating when he was lying on the field not moving- that was a shit move- but the hit was clean.
