Why USC is overrated (link)

The article is silly and all these "USC vs other great teams in history" talks are equally silly (especially when USC still needs to win one more game to deserve such talk and to lend proper persepctive to such talks) but because of your avatar you're hereby granted eternal clemency from me no matter what you say or do from here on out.

I do agree that it was too early to start all the "How would USC fare against the best teams of all-time?" talk on ESPN. Couldn't that have waited until after the Rose Bowl?
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

All such talk has to wait until after the Rose Bowl.
If USC loses it's all moot.
If USC wins big and their D looks great then the whole perception of this year's team changes. No longer will it be, "Well, the Trojans may've had the best offense ever but their D was a bit suspect so we like the 1923 Holyoke Pantybadgers better..."
It'd then be, "Best offense ever, best winners ever and once their D got reasonably healthy late in the year and on into Bowl Season they were a very well balanced squad with no major weaknesses..."
Leading into last year's OU game USC's D was also presumed to be their achilles' heel but that's no longer considered to be the case after they decimated OU's previously dominant offense.
Let the game take place and let the dust settle and then people can talk...

Not that USC will lose, but that you would concede that even the remotest possibility existed that it could.
Wha... :?Let the game take place and let the dust settle and then people can talk...
You in particular Van, have been flapping your gums incessantly about USC's invincibility and NOW, right before the big game starts, you want to take a wait and see approach?
Too funny.
I knew those buttcheeks would start to clench the closer that Texas sized cock came towards penetration.
Too late bitch!
