Good to see the University and Mack Brown get the monkey off their backs. SC was better than I really thought, but VY continued to amaze me. Feels almost unreal.

I think it's worth two separate congratulatory posts: GREAT game.

Yes, thanks for making the Big 12 respectable.

I have to type because I cannot speak. It has been a long time coming. Vince Young.... Vito is right. Is there a better dual threat in the history of college football?

Thanks for all the props.

I will now go back to having all the 12 year old kids in my neighborhood... kicking the shit outta me, as if I were 17 all over again.

Holy shit. Rack Texas and all the Longhorn fans in here. My perception of your program took a total 180 this season. One of the best NC runs I've ever seen. And surely, one of the best if not the best championship games ever played-- and I think that means a little somethin' coming from a Buckeye. :D

And hats off to Pete Carroll. Very classy and gracious after the defeat. Wish Leinart would have taken a cue.

Don't want to start looking too far ahead yet, but tonight I promised myself that I will be in Austin on 9/9/06.

Skully was out getting a new job about which he is even more excited than he is at the prospect of us wiping that smile of your orange mug next October.

...and he's already given his props, in a whole new thread... I figured you guys deserved that much from me.

Great point, PC showed a lot of class at the end of that game---very real but also very courteous.
