My Thoughts On the Rose Bowl, etc...

Post by the_ouskull »

Hate to see Tejas win, at ANYTHING, but I'll be damned if they didn't go out there and TAKE it.

-- Vince Young is the REAL Vinsanity. Sick, sick, sick.
-- Vince also makes Mack a great coach... without Vince Mack is above good, but a notch below great. Regardless, he now joins the proverbial ranks... Congrats to him. Even though he coaches my most hated rival, he IS a great guy... He's just made some mistakes (Simms / Applewhite) in the past, but who hasn't...?

-- Props to both teams for putting one HELL of a product on the field, as many of us thought that they would. If CFB EVER has to end, it should end on that note more often...

-- Finally, to our Tejas regulars... Welcome and Congratulations. It's one Hell of a f*ckin' feeling, isn't it?

...just don't get used to it. :D

This was a defining moment for Mack in the past and part of the reason I hated him and Texas so much. But this year changed a lot or perceptions I imagine. Congrads Texas.

Mack has mellowed out quite a bit this year, he used to be so sensitive to anything said about him, the players, or his staff. I remember him refusing to let Simms answer interview questions because he was trying to protect him.

Just as players change and improve I think coaches can as well. And in this case I think Mack has improved.

Only 2 things have ever beat this feeling. The first was the birth of my son. That is #1. The second was the Red Sox winning the WS last year. This was f%#king awesome!
