Recycled Coaches
I'll never understand this phenomenon. The same group of losers get recycled again and again.
Wade Phillips? Herm Edwards? Mooch? Haslett?
Once you get through the NFL door, you're a lock for multiple coaching jobs, regardless of past performance.

True, true. Once Haslett was let go I heard that he would be on the short list of coaches for several teams? WTF?? He had a lof talent and never could put anything together. His teams always looks unprepared week in, week out.
Gregg Williams was a hot commodity before the Skins re-signed him. WHY?? He sucked big time in Buffalo. Why would anyone think that he would better, this time around?
Wade Phillips?? Jesus titty fucking christ. He was mediocre at best.
I would rather take a chance w/ a well respected coordinator ala Childress or Carthon than give a proven loser a second, third chance.

Some guys seem to just be more apt at handling one part of the team instead of the whole operation. I'm intrigued to see what kind of a coach Mike Singletary would be. I don't want to see the Lions take another crazy risk but it certainly wouldn't be the first time they make a bad decision. I'd much rather give a new guy a chance instead of a guy like Haslett...who they have had in for an interview. I've seen about 8 or 9 names mentioned for the Lions job...no clue who the favorite is and none of them are can't miss choices either.

No shit they are coordinators now. People had been floating their names out for HC positions for a 2nd go around.

Me and about 1,000,000 LionFans will join you...WolverineSteve wrote:If Millen hires him I will drive to Detroit and strangle him in the center of town.
Parcells is staying in Dallas so those rumors of him leaving to come here are officially dead. I really don't have a #1 pick. I fell for the Mooch hype before...I'm going to be more open-minded with this next guy. There doesn't seem to be that buzz name out there. A lot of okay candidates but not one that blows you away.
