Sims going to NFL

Post by Cicero »

FUCK!!

Hate this shit. First Cromartie leaves after playing for 2 years and sitting out his whole Junior Year. Now, Ernie leaves after his junior year. These 2 guys were the best 2 players from our '03 class and I feel used. They both made big plays, but I think w/ them leaving early they failed tolive up to the hype. He says he is coming back to get his degree though. :meds:

Where has the loyalty gone? What the fuck is one more year going to matter. Its not like his parents need the money. Both of them are college grads and have good jobs.

The rest of us are all crying rivers for you. :meds:

There isn't a program in the country who doesn't/hasn't have/had to deal with this almost every other year. Be thankful they attended FSU at all.

Oh I know every school goes thru it, but it still hurts. Look at what all the early defections to the NFL did to Miami. Luckily, FSU doesnt have to many guys leave early but I just wish they would be back on Def. Losing 2 1st Rounders is going to hurt.

This is happening across the board.

Next season should be very interesting. Most teams that finished strong in '05 that would be considered preseason favorites for next season, are losing key guys to the NFL.

Ohio State just lost junior DBs Donte Whitner & Ashton Youboty to the draft. That leaves just 2 returning starters on defense. Ouch.

But USC, Texas, & Penn State are dealing with the same thing.

The only loyalty at FSU is to Jeff Bowden by BB. That loyalty is part of the reason there is very little elsewhere in the program.
