Thornton thrown out after in 5 minutes in Boston return

He hit Big Pussy Hal Gill from behind against the boards and left the 6'7" labia in a heap on the ice. 5 minutes intent to injure and game misconduct. I thought it was a marginal hit, probably deserving a penalty but not a game misconduct. Welcome back to Boston, Joe.

Saw the hit on espn. BS call. 5 minute major? Maybe.. he kinda stood over Gill for a moment afterwards and it didn't look like he was asking him if he was ok.

Game misconduct? Gimme a break. Hometown call.

That was a bad call. Saw the highlight...if Gill doesn't get hurt, the refs had no reason to toss him or even give him a major penalty for that matter.

If Gill wasn't such a Pussy it would have been a non-issue. God I hate that guy, he's an embarrassment to the Bruins uniform.

In the interview I saw even Gill said it was an OK hit and bad call. Refs just looking to make something for the fans...like many of their bad calls.

Hal Gill = Steve McKenna. Oversized, worthless pile of shit. GOD bless a dude like Zdeno Chara who has the same build, but a much nastier disposition

My hope is that Gill will take on Chara and that will be the end of Hal Gill.
