Really? That $270 I won in the JAFFL last year seemed pretty real to me.

Participation in a league changes the way one views the NFL, the way one cheers, the way one looks at players, teams, loyalties.

So what? Doesn't change my allegiance or my passion for my 'real' team one iota. In fact, it prolly adds to it, as I'm more likely (being the homer that I am) to pick players from the Chiefs juggernaut offense.

Methinks you either don't know what you're missing, or you had a bad experience one time when some thug like KC Scott beat you up and took your lunch money.

Either way, get off your soapbox. If FF ain't for you that's peachy. But to ignorantly declare that anyone who does enjoy it is some sort of reprobate is waaay off base. It adds to the enjoyment of being a fan. It doesn't detract from it.

Matter of fact, I think in the final baseball league, I believed I edged out a certain UCan't on the last game of the last day of the season.

With this controversy, I have yet another chance to pimp Yahoo, for anything pick'em or fantasy related.

Yahoo has recently added a nice new little feature, and its called the "Fantasy Sports Profile." It shows every single contest you have ever played on Yahoo, where you finished, who else played, the year, the league, and anything else you would like to know. Not only can you view your own profile, but you can view everyone elses also.

Avoiding squabbles like this, and having documented scoreboard ........ just one more reason to go Yahoo next season. :)

Wasn't that you in that baseball league, UCan't? It was a roto league, and you had it locked up, by .5 or a point or something, and in the last game of the last weekend, I assumed I had lost, and quit watching. Then, in the late innings, somebody(Manny, maybe) just went the fuck off, and I ended up winning by .5. By far the closest baseball roto league I've ever been in.
