Steelers vs. Broncos

Post by WhatsMyName »

I won't lie, the Patriots kicked Denver's ass on just about every play except the few 5 or 6 plays that mattered the most. Scoreboard is all that counts, which is why I'm taking Denver to win against Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh may very well kick dirt in Denver's face too, but will they out-point them? No. Outscoring the Broncos at Mile High hasn't happened all year long (9 games) and won't happen on the 10th game either.

Eric Allen at ESPN thinks the game rests on The Snake's shoulders and whether or not HE makes the big mistake. I personally find that assessment to be too simplistic. For example -- If you look at the Broncos game vs. the Pats, the game really came down to which quarterback protected the ball, right? So let me ask you this -- Who would have EVER said before that game that Brady would be the guy to screw up and not Jake? Nobody, because it was a foregone conclusion that Brady wasn't going to make a mistake and that Jake is just itching to revert into a mistake factory again, right? So Eric Allen really doesn't have a fucking clue what this game will turn into, because for all we know Big Ben will throw two pick 6's and look like Kyle Boller on Sunday. Fuck that conventional wisdom bullshit.

PrOPS on keeping this Nic going for 2 weeks!

Physical Football.

Steelers O-Line vs. BROWNS D-Line....we know how this story goes--->the Leopards may MOVE around; but, they do NOT change their Spots.

BROWNS D-Line has been Non~Existent vs. the Stoolerz. Moving the underachieving Pricks to Dungver isn't going to help their cause.

other than that...the Donkeys aren't going to overmatch the Stoolerz D. they'll get some rushing yds; but, Passing will be the key.

i see INT's and Sacks for the Snake...not TD's.

COWHER might've finally figured out HOW to Coach in the Post Season...and then learned his lesson again after shitting his pants during Sunday's 4th qtr.

Stoolerz D is going to queef the Donkeys.

I think the Steelers will win this game. It's tough to run on the Steeler D. Only two backs did so all year. So if they are able to shut down Denver's running game, Plummer will be throwing picks and getting sacked.

This ain't Kordell Stewart's Steelers.

This one is going to be a physical football game but I see the Steelers running game prevailing in the end...

Seriously...I'll take a well-played game in which a winner is chosen on the field by players with guts and heart, and the refs don't end up making fools of themselves again.

We'll see. Are the Steelers favored in this game? If they win, will it be an "upset"?

You'll claim he choked if they lose, but personally, I'll regard the last two road playoff wins to be great ones.
