The fans may burn down Ford Field after two years but Marinelli will get three seasons at least. All I know is that roach Millen will survive another Lions meltdown.

Marinelli's staff is taking shape...Donnie Henderson in as defensive coordinator. As for offensive coordinator?

Martz in talks with the Lions...

A little more on Martz...

If this hire can happen, I can only imagine what he'd do with the players he's got at his disposal. In a vanilla and unimaginative scheme with Mariucci, these young players were useless but if Martz comes in opens things up, it could be a completely different story. The question is, could Harrington be his Marc Bulger? Marinelli's background should bring a more aggressive defense and hiring Martz could breath new life in the Lions' offense that we haven't seen since the days of the Silver Stretch and the Great Lakes Offense. I don't want to get my hopes up but this coaching staff could quickly become very intriguing with the addition of Martz on the offensive side of the ball.
