Arrested Development
I don't really have a substantial take on this show, which is why I chose to post this thread here.
I saw only half of the first episode until this weekend. Girlfriend and I broke up so I had some free time over the weekend, so I spent a lot of it sitting around and watching the first season of this DVD series...made it through the whole thing pretty easily. Not a whole lot of laugh out loud parts, more of a "Ahhh, I get what they're doing and that's smart and clever" kinda thing. I appreciated the fact that about 98% of the Mr Show cast was used in some form during the season.
Overall: Excellent for network television, but just "good" in general. Overrated? Yes, a bit, but still very watchable. For a sitcom on major network television it's probably the best thing going right now.

And that's not saying much considering it was cancelled.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote: For a sitcom on major network television it's probably the best thing going right now.

Not so fast.

it appears the show isn't cancelled afterall.
Which is GREAT, as it's easily one of the top 3 comedies on TV these days.

I watch "Boston Legal", SuperFreak likes "Amazing Race", "ER", and "Grey's Anatomy".
Other than those, we don't pay much attention to network TV.
I will on occasion, if there's a good ballgame on. :P

The show was revived last year at this time. It was chainstoking when Charlize Theron was on and is now DOA.website wrote:Here's a quick history: on February 9, 2005, Fox reduced the episode order for Arrested Development from 22 to 18
