Dammit Call Your Picks For This Weekend!

Post by atomicdad »

As much as I hate the mofo Broncos, they are going to take this game.

Altitude+weather, and a strong defense will decide this game. Both sides will be cold, but the Donc's have home field and will know how to preserve their strength and 02 for the 4th quarter. Boy toy Troy will have his way with the O-Line but he will find that his penetration and exertion will be just a bit too short when the game is on the line

Broncos 17 - Stillers 12

Carolina v Shawks, fuck I haven't seen any team all year except for the squacks on ChristmasEve against the colts 2nd line. I'll take the home team since whasomahosut broke his ankle last week.

So quit your bitching about all the stupid shit.

I'm over the whole AFC disappointment and ready to call my picks.

Steelers over the Broncos

Carolina over the Seahawks

Both of my picks have some obstacles to overcome to win.

My Steelers pick because I can't root against this team. You have to love Cowher, Ben, Ward, the bus and company. Please beat the rat and expose Jake the Snake. Make my day and give me at least one embarrassing JakeMistake.

Carolina because I only saw one Seahawk game this year and I was less than impressed. I don't really care who wins this one.

I'll take a sig bet on that until SB Sunday, if you're up for it Cowboy.

I also have a feeling the PGH-DEN game is going to be the opposite of what most think, in that it will be high-scoring.

PGH - 38
DEN - 41

Btw, for all you stat freaks ... never in the history of the NFL have two wild-card teams won three straight road games to reach the Super Bowl.

That should give Ucant a hard-on.

Yeah, that must be absolutely horrible, being an NFL-hating Yankee Fan and all.

I'm actually surprised that you bothered to make picks in here. After all, shouldn't you be re-coaxing A-Rod's scrotum, just one more time, just so he'll play for good ole USA?

Go away, faggot. Nobody cares about your "takes" in this forum, especially from someone who repeatedly has stated the "NFL is boring," much less your meandering, randomn keystrokes, which you would like to call "picks."

True. In fact only one wild card team has ever won 3 straight road games and reached the Super Bowl...the '85 Patriots... but I'm sure everyone already knew that.

I'm thinking that there's a better than 50/50 chance that both make it this year. Both should be great games.

Fresher than some jerkoff who trolls himself, Babs.

Did you really think you were going to waltz into the NFL forum, start pounding out shit take after shit take, and not get exposed?

Nice try, dumbfuck. Better luck next time.

like D-town mike said, weather will be almost 40 and sunny at game time in Denver. don't see that being a factor.

Denver 24
Pitt 20

Seattle 20
Carolina 14

-The winner of the SB is coming from the AFC (that's a given)
-Carolina winning it's 4th straight game on the road would be a major accomplishment. I just don't see it happening. Had they been at home, I would not only pick Carolina, I'd give them an even greater chance against the AFC in the Super Bowl, given their experience.
